I had an amazing experience at Melia, and would definitely consider returning. Everything from the room to the hotel cleanliness (sanitiser in the toilets and at the beach bar) to the staff made for a perfect experience.
The only negative I found, and this by no means ruined the experience, was the laundry. I got some laundry done and thought for convenience I'd do it via the hotel. It was only when I checked into the next hotel and went to use some of the clothes did I find literally all the laundry stunk. It smelled like when clothes are washed and left in a pile for too long. In 33 degree weather it made for very unpleasant smell, almost vomit like, so I'll need to wash everything again. I'd expect a lot better considering the amount I paid was almost as much as a 1 night stay in the room I had.
