All in all a pleasant stay at synergy. The staff were very kind and helpful even though they couldn’t fix all of our problems we experienced during our stay. The facilities does not quite live up to the standard portrayed in the pictures, the “fitness center” consisted of one bike, a broken cross trainer, a multi purpose machine and a treadmill. All equipment was in very poor condition and the treadmill stopped working and wasn’t fixed. The beds are rock solid, so if you preferre a soft bed this is not a place for you. Also next to a beach club so expect loud music during the day and until around midnight. The porch is big but without furniture just two sun beds

Minimalism in Paradise

From the "Emperors New Clothes" School of design comes the Synergy Samui. I know the designers were trying very hard to be different, yet a thread bare hedgerow of tired shrubs for an entrance facade does not make for a tropical hotel. It is "bungalow style" layout bereft of any decoration. Maybe perfect on the upper East side of Manhattan but a total buzz kill on the beautiful island of Koh Samui. I chose the pool villa, just to be indulgent. The pool was dirty and we had to ask to have it cleaned. Our Villa backed up against the main pool, separated by a fence. Unlike the hotel right next door with a similar "pool villa" layout, we had no view of the ocean. The "Villa" itself had some serious design flaws. The entrance door was a narrow double swinging door that opened into the bathroom. The bathroom takes up half the size of the villa itself. The main focal point is a giant soaking tub with a really huge marble surround! With the giant tub and the private pool there was plenty of space to open a small fish hatchery!

Wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt hatten ein Upgrade dazu gebucht da der connecting Bungalow nur durch eine Verbindungstür getrennt ist. Praktisch als Familie aber nicht wenn jemand fremdes daneben ist. Sehr hellhörig. Aber das kann jeder für sich entscheiden. Uns war es das wert für einen alleinstehenden Bungalow der wirklich sehr ruhig und angenehm war einen kleinen Aufpreis zu zahlen. Tolle Lage gleich im Geschehen aber auch schnell wieder in Ruhe im Bungalow oder am Pool bzw. Meer. Top!

Fantastiskt hotel med otroligt trevlig personal. Bodde hör först tre dagar och sen bokade jag 7 till för att det var så bra. Stranden är som bäst utanför hotellet och de har bra solstolar som ingår med hotellet. Frukosten var bra. Det enda jag har att klaga på är att sängen är för hård. De borde köpa in bäddmadrass till sängen. Annars var det superbra på Synergy

Have been to koh samui many of times and this resort is by far the best i have stayed at. I found the staff very friendly, the barstaff made for good conversation and were very helpful with tour information .The location is perfect beach right at your door step, all your shopping and eating needs within minutes walk. Room was very clean and everything the pictures show. Would recommend this resort and will definitely be coming back.
