The property was amazing! I got a smart studio, thinking it would be bigger, my mistake. It was still a nice room, kept clean with housekeeping coming by twice daily. The bar was not free, but tea and coffee were. I got the breakfast package, so we ate daily at the restaurant, which was DELICIOUS (try the pood lood!). The beach is just right there, with beach chairs and loungers, plus security 24/7. The manager was very sweet and came by to check on us periodically, making sure we were happy with our stay. They even offered water and snacks for guests lounging by the pool. The market is just outside the property, on the street, with plenty of food, shopping, and activities available in walking distance. I would honestly stay here again, maybe in one of the secret pool villas.

The only word to describe our stay at The Library…. AMAZING! I was initially hesitant to book the hotel based on the minimalist style of the rooms, but the room was beautiful. Huge space, huge bathroom and a big balcony with a daybed and table and chairs (we were in the 1st floor). And the most comfy bed. The hotel is definitely located on the best part of Chawang Beach, with crystal clear water. The red pool is also amazing, and great that they have a quiet pool for adults only…. Right on the beach! If I have one criticism, it would be the breakfast, however only because I like a buffet breakfast. But the breakfast was still excellent. Thank you to the amazing staff at the Library…. It truly was an amazing relaxing holiday. We will be back!

Di solito non faccio mai recensioni ma questa volta mi sento in dovere di farla! La struttura e’ bellissima, in posizione perfetta di fornte alla parte piu’ bella della spiaggia di Chaweng. Secondo me il miglior residence di Chaweng.Le camere sono bellissime e ben tenute. Ho soggiornato per 10 giorni in una Secret pool Villa , bellissima e ben arredata. avevamo piscina e vasca di idromassaggio tra la camera e il salotto.Tutto il personale lavora alla perfezione, educatissimi e sempre pronti a soddisfare qualsiasi esigenza. Il ristorante The Page e’ di altissimo livello , usano tutte materie prime di prima qualita’ e il menu’ e’ ricchissimo e vario. Carta dei vini eccellente.Che dire, un vero e proprio ANGOLO DI PARADISO! Ci tornero’ di sicuro.

We stayed in a secret villa pool room. What an experience from the moment you walked through the secret door into the large villa with its 3.5metre bed and large bathroom and lounge area along with its own pool. What was fantastic about the library though was being able to relax via the pool on Cheweng Beach. A quiet oasis amongst the hustle of the islands busiest area. Breakfast and food were also excellent. Friendly staff and GR dat cocktail hour! Highly recommend a stay at The Library when in Koh Samui.

朝食はメニーから好きなものを選べます。ヨーグルトから、アボガドトースト？、クラブケーキ、フレンチトーストからのフルーツ盛り合わせ。飲み物もにんじんプラスオレンジジュース、アイスコーヒー、ホットコーヒーなどなど、。別の日は伝統的なサムイ風ヌードル（素麺のナポリタン？）炒飯などなどもちろん卵料理も色々あります。朝ご飯で夕方まで十分持ちます。外の人用に料金のついたメニューもあります。それで調べると朝ご飯で1200から1500バーツぶんいただけます。美味しいです。　シャワーは水圧弱いです。サムイ島だからかも、部屋に蚊がいる場合があるので、ワンプッシュ蚊取りは必携。ネットもつながります。ただし空港までの送迎が今年は650バーツでした。わずか10分くらいでです。ちょっと高いように思いました。サムイは移動費が高いので、チャウエンビーチだけで十分海を楽しめました。

Ich hatte einen rundum sehr gelungenen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das bediente Frühstück – eine tolle Abwechslung zum üblichen Buffet. Die Speisen waren von ausgezeichneter Qualität, frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Der Service war in allen Bereichen erstklassig: aufmerksam, freundlich und stets bemüht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich gut aufgehoben. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die überschaubare Anzahl an Zimmern. Dadurch herrscht eine angenehme Ruhe im gesamten Hotel. Kein Stress um Liegen am Pool, kein Gedränge – stattdessen pure Entspannung und Erholung. Ich kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder!

Returning to The Library in Ko Samui for the second time was a very emotional experience for me. The first time I stayed here was with my fiancé and it had been one of the most special trips we ever shared. Sadly, he has since passed away, and coming back to a place full of these memories was both difficult and comforting. What made this stay truly special was the warmth of the team. The manager even recognized me again, which genuinely touched me and made me feel very welcome. The hotel itself is still exceptional. The rooms are perfectly maintained—clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The peaceful atmosphere by the pool and the pristine beach create the perfect place to relax without any pressure. Breakfast remains a highlight, with a fantastic à la carte selection and excellent quality. Coming back here helped me reconnect with meaningful memories and find a sense of peace. This place is truly special, and I’m very grateful I returned.

Lovely Hotel and gorgeous rooms. The staff are beyond nice. They will bend backwards to please their guests and no request is too much. I broke my foot whilst staying at the Hotel and they were very helpful. The only thing that I would not rate very high is the food which was a shame as the Hotel itself is stunning.

Das war unsere 3 Station von Thailand. Wir wollten nicht weg. Als wir abgereist sind in den Norden von ko samui,… wir kamen jeden Tag nach Chaweng zurück. Natürlich ist es Geschmacksache aber vom Strand bis hin zur Lage, stimmte hier einfach für uns persönlich alles. Wenn wir wieder nach Thailand reisen, dann zu 100% the Library. Die Villen selbst waren makellos sauber und bestens ausgestattet – es fehlte uns an nichts.. Unser Fazit: Von der Lage über die Unterkunft bis hin zur Herzlichkeit des Teams – für uns war es eine glatte 10 von 10.

Svært bra hotell. Fine, rene rom. Store rom med stort bad. Frokosten er a la carte, hvor man bestiller fra meny. Det var et bredt utvalg av Thai og vestlige retter, samt varme og kalde drikker. Betjeningen fremsto som profesjonelle, oppmerksomme og behjelpelige til en hver tid. Vil også trekke frem hotellets manager sin profesjonelle væremåte og evne til å strekke seg langt for gjestenes velvære.
