Absolutely wonderful place! We traveled to three different Hawaiian islands, staying in five different places and this place was, hands down, the best!! Fantastic host, excellent location, and views from the lanai can’t be beat. Everyday we saw whales, spinner dolphins, and sea turtles. Many memories made! Mahalo

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful at Poipu Shores. Perfect location. Walking distance to Poipu Beach. Wake up to turtles swimming below and watching the whales throughout the day.Condo was very clean with all the amenities needed. Our Host checked in on us frequently to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. Hope to return in the future.

Poipu holiday

Wonderful property overlooking the water, waves, turtles and sunsets. Quiet relaxing spot close to great beaches. Enjoyed the pool. Had some great meals and restaurants in the area. Really enjoyed our stay.

Kauai Vacation

Parker is an excellent host, and the view does not disappoint. You can watch whales and turtles from the lanai. Popui and Brennecke's beaches are an easy walk. Even though the location is in the south we took multiple trips to the northern beaches including Hanalei. Shipwreck Beach hike/walk is fantastic. Even though there a many condos in Poipu, it is much quieter than Lihue and Kapa'a.

Wonderful Place and Can’t Wait To Go Back

This place was everything we hoped for and then some! We had one issue with the coffee maker but Parker got that replace asap. Beautiful views, wonderful waves, blow holes, very very relaxing! I would recommend it to anyone.

You really do get what you paid for

This listing is not inexpensive, significantly more so if you are Canadian. That said, we got what you paid for. If you love the ocean and want all the conveniences of home, this should be your choice.

Winter get away

Only had three nights…but enjoyed our short stay on the south side before heading up to the north shore. Booked this property in hopes for mornings enjoying the surf just off the lanai…and was not disappointed. My boys enjoyed the short walk to beaches nearby. The relaxing sunsets were quite enjoyable as well & the sound of surf through the night made our stay memorable!

Great host, location and property!

Truly oceanfront. Great location with quick access to Poipu Beach and the restaurant, as well as the Grand Hyatt if you want to do a day spa pass. Clean, spacious and Parker was quick to respond and answer any questions. You can't go wrong withe this one. Mahalo!

Amazing Views!!!

We booked this property for the views and were not disappointed. The unit is smaller than I thought it would be, but was great for our family of four. Two bathrooms are small, but efficient. Kitchen is so well equipped, unlike many other homes we've rented, it had lots of dishes, cutting boards, knives etc.. Walk to the beach is so close, would recommend.

Fabulous place on Kauai’s South Shore

Parker’s condo was the perfect choice for our first trip to Kauai. He gave us great suggestions for activities and restaurants in advance, and the check-in process was a breeze. The condo was immaculate and comfortable, and its position overlooking the ocean made for enjoyable mornings and evenings on the lanai. We explored the whole island, but the South Shore is the place to be. When we return to Kauai, Poipu Shores is where we’ll stay. Mahalo, Parker, for a memorable experience.

Poipu Shores

We highly recommend this condo for a vacation. Parker is great to work with and also provided a lovely welcome gift upon our arrival. We loved the location as it was close to everything. Great beaches and shops and restaurants. The view from this condo is amazing. Every morning around 9am while we were having our coffee on the lanai a group of spinner dolphins would come. About the same time, we would see several sea turtles too. The condo was clean and well stocked for vacation needs. The beds were comfortable.

Can I stay here forever?

What an amazing place! Right on ocean cliffs with amazing views. Our evening activity was watching the sunset. A rainbow greeted us for breakfast. Kitchen well stocked for simple meals. Comfy furniture. Great community pool. If I had to list something that could be improved it would be the tight parking situation (which is not in the owner's control). We were so sad to leave!

Great view!

We loved our stay. The view was outstanding and the location was convenient. The only downside was the AC. There is a AC unit in the master bedroom and the main area. The second bedroom is warm as the air does not cool the room. Then the AC in the main room failed. It does cool down at night. The staff was very responsive!
