“I chose to stay despite an emergency power outage and was pleased the host was agreeable, as some would not be. I brought extra preparations for the stay and had a comfortable night. I was pleased to see that if I had needed to cook (I was as in town for a dinner), there was a propane bbq on the patio, equipped with propane tanks and utensils! Also, the bed was very comfortable and extra props to the host for the pillow choice. I slept better than I do in my own bed! Thanks again! ”

“Overall the stay was very enjoyable! As others have stated, the stairs are not for people with mobility issues but it wasn’t as terrible as I expected. We had walmart deliver some groceries and we gave a nice tip to have them brought down. They had floaties blown up and ready to go as well as 3 kayaks which we REALLY enjoyed! We had a fire two nights of our stay but had to buy our own logs. The owners apparently do not guarantee wood for each guest. The host did inform me they had some Presto……

“It is a beautiful house with an amazing view. Husband, myself and my mom enjoyed the decks and private dock. Enough room to spread out if needed. Beds were comfy. Linens and towels available. Fire pit is not available for use. ”

“Our family had such a wonderful stay at this cabin. It’s only about a 15 minute drive to Silverwood. We just had a hard time wanting to leave the lake because it was so beautiful. Tons of fish, ducks, turtles, squirrels, wild turkeys and blue heron. We even passed a house with two camels on our way to Silverwood & heard there was a Mama and baby Moose nearby but we didn’t see them. I could’ve happily sat out on the back deck and watched animals all day. Communication was wonderful from beginning……
