An absolutely priceless praceful gateway - perfect 10/10
If you are looking for one of the most beautiful, secluded getaways, this is the absolute pinnacle. The hidden bay of Orlanduša offers complete peace while an occasional traveler drives down just to admire the bay, you practically have the place to yourself. The view overlooking the entire bay is simply breathtaking. The sea is a crystal-clear greenish-blue, and the beach is filled with the roundest pebbles I have ever seen! The exciting waves also added a wonderful, authentic sea atmosphere.Best of all, there is no phone signal or internet, making it the ultimate digital detox where you can truly disconnect from the world. Getting there is a bit adventurous, as the drive includes a challenging macadam/dirt road, but it is absolutely doable and worth every meter. It is a Robinson Crusoe-style accommodation, so minor electricity tweaks are just part of the adventure. Still, the owners have done more than anyone could possibly expect to make it comfortable. You park about 150 steps above the house, but the owners have solved this with an incredible invention – they transport all your luggage down using a special motorized cargo gondola on tracks! On top of that, the hosts are incredibly kind. They made our vacation and my birthday so special with a complimentary bottle of wine and homemade travarica (herbal brandy). The landscape is priceless, and we will happily return! ️
