Hotel Platanista exceeded our expectations (Like it did 21 years ago when we were here the first time) . The hotel itself is stunning and very well maintained. Our rooms very very spacious and clean and offered everything we needed. All staff members are accomodating and paid attention to our needs. Especially Julia and Ria were very lovely The Center of Kos can be reached by a 30 minute walk or by Bike or Bus and offers some nice Sightseeing opportunities. All in all a wonderful vacation in an awesome Hotel

A compliment to the people at the front desk and at the bar, they were really friendly and helpful. the hotel all in all was not so bad but not up to 4.5 stars standard. The prize of the hotel are very high. They need to do some improvement. Like at the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. The food quality was quite poor. the pool and the beach were a pretty nice.

Really lovely hotel in excellent location. Peaceful spot but east to get to a number of very good beachfront restaurants and Kos marina. About 30 minutes walk to town or safe cycle/scooter routes all along road. Staff cannot do enough for you and very friendly. Special mention to the beautiful Bengal cat who lives in the hotel and visited us in our balcony every day 😻

Struttura confortevole, pulizia accurata. Personale sempre disponibile e gentile.

Couldn’t fault this hotel. From the staff to the amenities and cleanliness, everything was top notch. Felt very well looked after and any question we had was answered by the very friendly staff. I’m not normally one for the entertainment section at hotels, but I must admit that the entertainment here put a smile on my face. We walked most days to the old Kos Town, but the hotel will happily arrange a taxi if needs be, which we did in fact use for an evening to watch the sunset in Zia. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit Kos.

I can't fault the property. It's clean comfortable and a good selection of food. The drinks are expensive but that's expected of a hotel. The walk to the beach you have to be super careful, as the walk down from the hotel is very narrow and on that lane is a vehicle hire company and coaches and cars are up and down there every minute. You have to cross a major road to get to the pebbled beach, if you have kids it's mega dangerous. The beaches are man made with brought in sand and the walk into the sea is very bad as the beach is made of large stones. Wrong side of the island really if you have children.
