Disappointing Stay – Serious Maintenance and Servi

Our experience at this property was unfortunately far below expectations, and I’ll be seeking reimbursement due to multiple issues throughout our stay. By Day 2, we had no Wi-Fi, no lighting on the stairway, and the elevators were completely out of order, creating major health and safety concerns. I booked the Penthouse Suite specifically for the jacuzzi, yet the boiler system failed — only two minutes of hot water followed by ten minutes of cold. Completely unacceptable for a premium room. The keycard system constantly malfunctioned — sometimes it worked, other times it wouldn’t register at all. The breakfast was always served cold, and the restaurant dinner was inedible. We ordered chicken which was undercooked and unsafe to eat. When I raised this with the waitress, she insisted it was “cooked that way” and refused to even check it herself, as well as denying a refund. This stay was extremely disappointing and not reflective of the standard the hotel advertises. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and provides an appropriate resolution.

The only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because of the condition and appearance of the accommodation itself – it looked quite nice. Unfortunately, the service did not match the price at all. We received no help or useful information during our stay. There were stink bugs all over the room when we arrived, and we had to start by removing them ourselves. Breakfast was delayed, and the only explanation we got was to “wait.” The pool was very cold, making it hard to enjoy. We had booked a slightly more expensive room with a kitchen, but there were only two glasses available – you would expect at least a few more basic items. Parking was also poorly organized; you have to park on a slope if there’s space. On the positive side, the view of the mountains was really beautiful.

Fräscha rum men saknades mycket i skåp i kök. Fanns 2 glas och 2 koppar I övrigt satt förra årets julsaker kvar och mycket runt poolen var trasigt såsom parasoller. Freundliches Personal jedoch mangelhaftes Management. Zimmer und Balkon um Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung, großartiger Ausblick, Hotel in einem unfertigen Zustand und zT mangelhaft (kaputte Sonnenschirme, Baustellen, Regendusche). Kein Geschirr im Apartment, trotz Küchenschränke. Qualität des Wassers der Pools fraglich (Geruch, grünlicher Belag am Rand) Kein Safe; ein Schrank als Ablagemöglichkeit. Frühstück lieblos mit begrenzter Auswahl. Insgesamt wurde der Eindruck erweckt, dass es keine Bemühungen gibt, Mängel zu beheben.

I highly recommend for anyone going to stay here! Besides the transport being difficult the hotel had helped with getting us a taxi accommodated. I can’t thank furkan enough as the prices were fair compared to the prices the main city taxis are. The staff in the hotel were lovely and made the experience a lot easier! Definitely worth the visit!

Vi hade en bra upplevelse på Lodges. Personalen var super trevliga och tillmötesgående. Poolen var ren och fin och det var en otrolig utsikt som är oförglömlig. Det som var mindre bra var att lakanet var för små för sängen vilket gjorde att man ibland sov på madrassen. Frukosten var oftast slut och det kunde ta tid för påfyllning och ibland så fylldes maten inte på. Det gick inte att äta frukost ute vid poolen då man blev störd av massor av getingar. Utöver det hade vi som sagt en bra upplevelse och skulle kunna tänka oss komma tillbaka.

Die Lage und der Ausblick ist toll. Parkplätze vor der Tür. Zwei tolle Pools. Es gab einen Roséwein inklusive, den wir auf unserer schönen Terrasse getrunken haben. Die Küche kann man nicht nutzen weil es keinerlei Töpfe etc. gibt. Das Frühstück war nicht sonderlich und an einigen Stellen scheint die Anlage noch nicht ganz fertig zu sein.

Overrated hotel

The hotel is highly overrated. It looks much better on the photos then in live. The service is poor. I tried to contact the hotel few days before our arrival, nobody answered the phone, they didn't respond to mail or whatsup message. The rooms are spacious but could be cleaner. The breakfast is poor and the pool seems a little bit dirty. Also, some of the hotel areas are still under construction. The road that leads to the hotel is very narrow and you should be very careful, especially with big car.

I had really mixed feelings about my stay and was very worried leading up to the trip based on the reviews I was starting to see come through. As far as location, while it was annoying to be reliant on a taxi I did like that it was a bit of an escape from the touristy and high traffic old town and enjoyed having a pool to come back to each day, if you want to be able to walk to dinner and be close to old town this hotel is not for you. The food was very mediocre and I didn’t even touch breakfast as it didn’t look very good. Staff was nice, not overly friendly but not rude. Room was very spacious and clean.

Bon hotel situé dans les montagnes à 10 min de Tivat et 20 min de Kotor. Point positif : petit dejeuner, 2 grandes piscines, accueil, belles chambres Point negatif : proprete du sol, place de parking, insonorisation des chambres, salle de bain ( ballon d'eau chaude pas rempli à notre arrivée)

I normally never provide reviews but honestly this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The staff was dismissive and rude - I am not sure if it was because I am a young female traveller and the guests were families or couples, but everyone else seemed to take priority over me. When it was time to check-in I was given room keys with no information on the amenities, how to contact reception, where to make dinner reservations, etc. The only reason I figured it out was because I overheard this information being shared with others checking in at the same time. The room was thrown together and half of the in room amenities were broken. The bed was uncomfortable and didn't have any sheets on the mattress. The cherry on top... I heard crickets in my room during the night. The next morning I brought some of my breakfast to my room so I could eat it later, when I tried to eat it I was greeted by 50+ ants crawling all over the food and counters. It was disgusting. Also their website claims to have room service but it did not exist when I tried to order (which by the way I needed to contact their main telephone number on WhatsApp because their phones didn't have a call sheet for hotel amenities) and their "taxi service" is 15 euros but I seemed to be charged 25 every time. Overall I am glad I only stayed one night but I regret it. I think Kotor is better off done as a day trip from a near by country and I wouldn't recommend it to people travelling from outside of Europe.
