Don't trust the pictures.

Not much to do in the area. As many other hotels in Thailand, dont trust the pictures! Our room had mold on the curtains, ants in the bathroom and on the balcony. On the balcony was big red ants so we couldn't use it. The staff was nice, but often the reception seemed unmanned. To get to the shopping/resturant area of ao nang we had to take tuk tuk. 250 bath back and forth. The good thing thou, it had air-conditioning.

-agreeable the price is cheap but this hotel is still not worth it: not exactly close to ao nang beach main area, ro wasn't clean, no wifi on 3rd floor -wouldn't recommend or revisit

JE ne vous conseille pas cet hotel

Je suis très décue de mon séjour.Chambre poussièreuse,cheveux au sol,draps et taies d'oreillers tachés.Mais le comble c'était la salle de bain:douche qui fuyait,lavabo bouché et fuyait aussi par en dessous.J'ai signalé le problème a plusieurs reprises,on est venu constater ?on nous a dit qu'on allait réparer mais rien n'a été fait.J'ai du faire moi meme la réparation sinon on aurait pas eu de douche ni de lavabo(heureusement que je suis bricoleuse)Pour une chambre soit disant de luxe.......En ce qui concerne le mènage,il est inexistant,pas de produits de toilette renouvelé.C'est la première fois que j'ai du passé moi meme l'aspirateur et acheter les produits de ménage pour nettoyer baignoire crasseuse (cheveux,sable)et les toilettes sales.Pourquoi aussi enlever ses chaussures?vu que le hall et les escaliers ne sont pas nettoyés....Personnel aimable mais sans plus ,souvent affalés sur le canapé,cela ne donne pas une image professionnelle.JE suis vraiment décue vu les photos internet,cela ne correspond pas.

Unhelpful, no wifi on 3rd floor, hotel needs clean

Hotel is in need of some work, room outlook of room is nice but no wifi on 3rd floor. Sink was leaking and manager said its not a problem? Have had a bad experience here and would not recommend. Quite a distance from ao nang beach. Personally I would not stay here again. Book any other resort at same price. Staff have 0 motivation to help. No soap/shampoo provided and no kettle in room. Although close to 7/11 and along song-thaew route so makes getting around ok. Hotel in desperate need of a clean and some renovation. Only positive was hot water but no shower curtain so bathroom floods after each shower.

We got a free upgrade to a villa stay for 3rooms for 3nights!! Amazing staff and everyone there was great and friendly..

When we arrived - they do not provided us with room at this hotel, despite the fact that booking was done only few hours ago. They gave us room at hotel next door. As I undestand that is their usual practice. Hotel is very noisy, located in Thai neighbourhood, 2-3 km from the beach.

Hotel Baan Havaree i Ao Nang

Bortsett fra misvisende og sprikende anføringer om avstand til strand og by både i beskrivelsen av hotellet og da vi fikk bekreftelsen (alt fra 20 meter til 2 km) var hotellet meget bra, stillte alltid opp med transport, enten for en billig penge eller gratis. Frokost var på søsterhotellet 2 minutters gange fra vårt hotell - til og med her ville vårt hotell stille med gratis skyss! Området rundt hotellet bød på flere supermarked, ukentlig marked med mat og klær og vi fikk godt innblikk i lokalbefolkningens liv og væremåte. Greit nok å bo et stykke fra steder det flommer over av turister!

nice guest house

The family who run this guest house/resort are really nice and helpful. The breakfast and swimming pool are both in a nearby resort which is 5min walk or 2min in their tuktuk. The only downside is that it is a 50baht/person tuktuk ride away from Auonang Beach although the family do run periodical trips in their own tuktuk. Overall good value, very clean and comfortable place to stay if you don't mind being just out of the beach area.

Vi bodde på detta hotell i 1 vecka, riktigt hjälpsam personal. Men dock är de felsta av dom ganska dåliga på engelska! Men dom gör så gott dom kan! Rummet var stort och fint, absolut kanonstandard för det priset! Dock så äter man inte frukosten på samma hotell, det gör man på ett annat hotell som heter Baan Habeebee, men det är bara 3 min gångväg dit. Och orkar man inte gå så kör personalen dit med sin tuk-tuk :-) där finns även en pool som man får använda! OBS: måste säga att kartan som finns här som visar var hotellet ligger är väldigt missvisande! Det ligger ganska långt från havet, och det är inga lämpliga vägar att gå på. Så man måste åka tuk-tuk varje gång! Dock så erbjuder hotellet grattis tuk-tuk så det funkade väldigt smidigt ändå! Så vill man bo lite billigare men ändå bra så funkar detta hotellet bra :-)

Far away from city and sea, without a pool, so not much to do by the hotel. But very friendly and service minded staff, and we were allowd to borrow a near by swimmIng pool, so we were fairly satisfied. the breakfast was ok.

Good Stay Away From The Crowd

We went as a group of 4 and took two rooms. Have to say I was quite impressed by the standard of the accommodation. The rooms were spacious, clean, plumbing and air-conditioning was good. The staffs were inviting and helpful. Not all speak English but it didn’t pose much of a problem. A simple cooked breakfast is provided. Just next door is a provision shop, 7-11 and a laundry mat. Its not the nearest of places to the beach, takes about 3-5 mins by transport to Ao Nang. Its pretty nice though, cause you’ll pass the less populated/known surrounding areas of Ao Nang. Things are cheaper, less crowds. The hotel provides a shuttle Tut-Tut at certain times. But when we called out of the shuttle times, they were still very accommodating and gave us a lift. Hiring a normal Tut-Tut to and from Ao Nang is about 50 Bht / pax.. Not the most convenient of places but for the price during peak season, it satisfied most of my basic needs and exceed them. I would say I liked it, a fail-safe place to stay and very unlikely to disappoint.
