Like a cell
We stayed in room 4 which is located on the third floor. There is no lift to it. Very cramped and with no air conditioning (temperature in the 30’s) during our stay. The room was clean but more like a cell in size

Det positive er beliggenheten. Inngangen er mørk og lite innbydende. Trappene opp er svært gamle og fremstår skitne. Hyggelige ansatte. Fellesarealer ok. Rommene små. Ingen aircondition, så her kan det bli varmt. Støy i gaten. God seng, flott bad, men selve rommet var svært lite. Anbefaler ikke å kjøpe frokosten her. Den kom i bokser som tydelig hadde stått i varmen lenge. Kjøp deg heller mat på en av de mer eller mindre døgnåpne dagligvarebutikkene og legg i kjøleskapet. Billigere og bedre.

Buona vacanza
Buone le camere ben arredate e cinfortevoli buona la pulizia anche dei servizi, lasciava onvece a desiderare la pulizia nei luoghi comuni, cucina etc.. La spazzatura è rimasta per due giorni senza che nessuno la ritirasse. Il pagamento seppure promesdo in euro è stato preteso in Sloty o carta, ciò ha creato disagi. Il portone d'ingresso è fatiscente.

Hotel z zewnątrz nie sprawia dobrego wrażenia. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna. Zaletą jest bliskość Starego Miasta i Wawelu. W pokoju czysto, dopóki nie zajrzy się pod łóżko. Łóżko miało być podwójne, w rzeczywistości są to dwa pojedyncze spięte w nogach, w głowie kółka, które powodowały że łóżka rozjeżdżały się. Z sanitariatów unosi się nieprzyjemny zapach, można sobie z nim poradzić puszczając duże ilości wody lub włączając wentylator. Dodatkowo kupiłam odświeżacz powietrza. Śniadanie za kwotę 25 zł niezbyt urozmaicone, nieadekwatne do kwoty. Brak miejsc postojowych, parkowanie w strefie płatnej.

Perfect location but a disappointing room
Great location just a few minutes walk from Old Town and Kazimierz. To reach the reception you have to walk up a few sets of stairs, no elevator is available.The staff was friendly and the reception area was quite nice. The room however didn't live up to our expectations. There was no fridge so we had no way of storing our water/beverages. The towels and linen smelled very strongly of perfumed softener, not suitable if you (like me) are sensitive to perfumes or have allergies. The TV was extremely small and the STB was a bit tricky to turn on. The double bed had two single-bed mattresses so unless you kept to your side you ended up inbetween them. The Wi-Fi was unreachable from our room on the second floor, we had to walk back into the stairway to have any coverage. The room felt a bit shabby with cheap materials and cracks in the bathroom floor. The bathroom lamp button also turned on the fan which was annoying. All-in-all I expected this to be a fully functioning apartment hotel, not a room without any fridge or cooking options.

Dear Frida, Thank you for sharing your opinion with us and we apologize for any inconvenience. We are very sorry that the problems you write about were not reported at the reception because certainly most of them could be solved. Also there is no information that a fridge or stove will be in your room so why you were expecting one? If you would ask about the fridge, we would give you access to it in our common kitchenette. WiFi in the building has several transmitters, so it was enough to change the network, if the receptionists knew about this problem, they would definitely tell you with which device connect to. The working ventilation in the bathroom is result from the regulations of the building law. Probably bed connectors were unhooked - at your request we could correct it. Towels could be exchanged for other upon your request. Beside all of these inconveniences we hope that you had a pleasant stay in Krakow.

The property was advertised as 2 bedrooms with options for sleeping sofa. When i arrived, it was one bedroom with fold out sofa. I was expecting 2 bedrooms as that is what i paid for. I requested partial money back, but management refused. I was disappointed as i felt the room was falsely advertised.

When you reported your doubts about the layout of the rooms, we offered you a change on the next day for the apartment which consists of a separate bedroom, a separate room with sofa and a corridor with kitchen. Also you have been informed, that on the next day the front desk manager will be available to discuss with you the best solution but you didn't come to meet her, so we thought that you accept the room and conditions. Beside all of these inconveniences we hope that you had a pleasant stay in Krakow.

This is a nice hotel with the old and new charm. The building is very old and the rooms are stylish and beautiful! A perfect place to stay in Krakow. Very good location! The hotels works similar to an Airbnb. The staff willl be there from 9am - 9pm, if you need anything free that you will need to contact them over the phone. I will stay here again!

Not what it says in the advert !!!
Reception is up 2 flights of 14 steps Room are up 4 flights of 14 steps Drinks only in reception area during opening times. No cooking facility's despite this advertised ad Apart hotel. No facility to make drinks on bedrooms above reception level. Meaning 28 stairs down to make drink, 28 stairs up carrying drinks. Mattress were disgusting, torn and badly stained, we had trouble getting matress changed even though it had an exposed spring that cut my leg, Poor quality bed linen, and not a fresh smell Room is overlooked by apartments so no privacy, no nets or blinds on windows which meant curtains permanently closed Bad drainage means shower overflows into.room unless you shower quickly We had same towels for the 5 days we were there, bed was not changed during our stay. Nor was room cleaned. Very disappointed in this place Definitely not the place to stay unless you have low expectations and are super fit.

Dear Alana, We are very sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. Angel House is a guest house located in a residential building with no elevator and this very important information is surely posted on the website where you made booking. As you agreed at the reception you have confused our Angel House with some other Angel hotel (in accordingly higher price) in the city so this explains a lot why you were expecting something different. When it comes to your favor with changing room for any on the lower floor-you were offered such a change for 2 last days out of 5 of your stay (as there was only such change possible) but you simply refused. We are deeply sorry for bad condition of the mattresses due to delay in delivery. On your request our handyman changed mattresses with another room as soon as possible. You have made reservation without alimentation so you did not have access to kitchenette. Also there is no information that a fridge, kettle or air condition will be in your room so why you were expecting one? After your complaint you were given extra key by our staff to get this problem solved. The windows has blackout curtains with which you can cover them. If the draining was already full it was enough to notify the reception and your problem would be solved immediately so we are sorry that we did not know this and could have helped if we only knew about this fact. Housekeeping is totally free of charge and it is upon request (also mentioned on the website). It is enough to notify the reception or simply hang "please clean my room" hanger on handle of your door. During making the reservation you have option to make it with or without breakfast. If you want to buy extra breakfast it is enough to notify our reception. We are sorry that our place has not meet your expectations and hope rest of your stay in Krakow was nice.

Gefallen: # Apartment befindet sich sehr nah an der Altstadt (10 Minuten zu Fuß). # Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung. Nicht gefallen: # Das Bett im Zimmer war kein Doppelbett, sondern zwei Einzelbetten die man zusammen geschoben hat. # Das Haus ist hellhörig. # Ächzende Parkett in dem eigenen, und im Zimmer des Nachbars. # Zimmer mit dem Fenster an der Strassenseite sind durch Straßenverkehr sehr laut. Um Ruhe zu haben sollte man Fenster geschlossen halten. # Kein Ersatz des Frühstücks wenn man vorm Frühstück abreist, aber ein Frühstück noch zusteht. # Neben der Rezeption gibt es eine kleine Küchenecke (Wasserkocher, Kaffeemachine), die man nach 21:00 Uhr nicht benutzen kann wenn eigenes Zimmer sich nicht neben der Rezeption befindet.

Great place, would stay again
Great place, super cute. In a good area, close walking distance to most things in Krakow. The staff were lovely and the water pressure in the shower was great (Thick hair problems were not a problem here!)

再訪したい快適アパートホテル
旧市街とカジミエシェのほぼ真ん中に位置しどちらにも行きやすく、落ち着いた地区でスーパーやトラム駅も近いです。 難を言えば壁が薄いことでしょうか。また、表に目立つ看板等は無いので、チェックインの住所は控えておき、アパルトマンの作りに慣れていない場合はフロントへのアクセスを事前に確認しておいた方がいいと思います。 中庭のある古い建物、センスのいい部屋に清潔な共有キッチン、暮らすように滞在できた快適な3泊でした。
