Great location and beautiful views from the balcony
We loved our stay here. The condo location is perfect, walking distance from the airport, with one of the best views/locations. Had everything you might need and Christine, the owner is very quick to offer help when needed . We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony after a day of Windsurfing in Lac Bay. Very easy to snorkel right from the condo, with the stair entry. This was our second stay at Reefs Edge and would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying here. We enjoyed every meal on the patio watching the boats come in and out while being entertained by the pelicans diving into the water with such terrific splashes. The villa was clean and it was so nice to have beach towels provided. We were also able to do laundry - that was awesome. It was quiet and relaxing and everything we needed was in the unit. The property manager answered our questions immediately - he was fabulous. We stopped to smell the flowers outside every time we came in - they were divine. We picked up most of our meals at the food trucks that were within walking distance and brought them back - good quick food at a reasonable price - this is incredibly conveniently located to the beach, to the food trucks, and to the airport. The snorkeling at the adjacent beach is fabulous; even if you're a diver, grab your mask, fins, and snorkel and head over. We are already planning our return trip. Christine is an amazing host and we would be delighted if she would host us again in this absolutely perfect villa.

Best view in Bonaire
Hands down, one of the best views (and outdoor deck) of the 40+ rentals we’ve had in our nomadic life. This cozy apartment is walking distance from the airport but is a world away at the same time. The kitchen is well-stocked and easy to negotiate with a good-sized fridge. The bedroom has a comfortable bed and enough closet and storage for a month’s stay. The AC works well in both the bedroom and the living room but no need for AC in living room ever—just open up the deck and front doors for a 24 hour breeze that keeps heat AND mosquitoes at bay. AND, there’s a washing machine. And we liked the split bathroom with a toilet in one room and shower in another (be careful of the slippery tile, though—we pack our own shower mat to prevent falls). Like many properties in Aruba and Bonaire, there’s only hot water in the shower and sink. You definitely need a car if you want to visit the many snorkel and diving sites though Bonaire Dive Friends is right next door and you can walk to a couple of good snorkeling beaches. Mornings on the deck were heavenly—watching all manner of boats (and cruise ships) in and out of the sea. Christine is a great communicator and the maintenance staff is johnny-on-the-spot if you have any problems.

Best location on island
We really injoyed staing at Reefs edge. Christine was friendly and helpful. Apartment is in best location, next to nice beach, easy to go airport by foot. We did use bicycles instead of car, there were little too much traffic. Apartment was clean and we liked it alot.

Wonderful!
We had an excellent time at Reefs Edge! What a wonderful location. It was great to just sit on the balcony and take in the view and watch the boats coming and going. So convenient to have the food trucks at the beach next door. The fish burgers at the KiteCity Food truck were so good that we decided we needed to go every day and try the fresh catch -- wahoo, red snapper, barracuda, queen snapper, and more. The condo has everything you need, and the AC very quickly cools down the main room or the bedroom when you need it. We would definitely stay here again!

Hubby and I had a wonderful time at this Vrbo . Our hoist was very helpful and answered all my questions very quickly. Home was perfect location . Enough away from center of town to just 5 minutes away from it too Loved balcony views and absolutely the best breeze ever . Only used ac at night in bedroom . Comfy bed and had everything we needed just had to ask directions few times .once we got town down we were great. Snorkeling was awesome l! Everywhere . Best burger cactus blue truck ! Thanks For letting us enjoy your home! Property guy was great too!

A great place!!
I cannot recommend this place enough! From the beginning, Christine (owner) was in contact with us. Any questions we had, she always got back to us within 15 minutes. She provided us with everything we needed to know, ranging from, what we needed upon arrival right up to restaurant recommendations. There was not a single moment of the entire stay we felt abandoned or on our own. We will be staying here again! I would not hesitate to recommend Christine & her property. Excellent stay cut short!!
This property was perfect for my wife, my 12 year old son, and myself. First off was the incredible view from our balcony. We were able to spot sea turtles, small manta rays, french angelfish, sea gulls, pelicans, iguanas, and much more just from sitting on our balcony in the morning and evening. The condo was very clean and well organized. Shortly after we arrived many restaurants closed down due to the corona-virus precautions so we cooked most meals in our condo. The kitchen had everything we needed. We shopped at a few of the excellent supermarkets on the island and were very happy with their selections. The bed was very comfortable and we only used the air conditioning at night as the breezes blowing through the condo were very comfortable. Our 12 year old son slept on the fold out couch and worked just fine. We also used the washing machine which also worked very well. The grounds around the condo were very clean and well maintained and we had nightly scavenger hunts to see who could find the most and biggest hermit crabs which were everywhere!! My wife and son don't dive so we snorkeled many different spots daily. The sea life and coral reefs around Bonaire are the very best I have seen in the Caribbean. We saw many amazing things on our daily snorkel trips. We booked a truck with AB Car Rental and were very pleased with their service. We had to return home 9 days early due to the corona virus shutting down flights in and out of Bonaire and the rental car company and Christine both gave us credit for our next trip. This was extremely gracious by both and we were so very appreciative in the wake of being pretty bummed out we had to leave so early. We have stayed a lot of different places in the Caribbean and Bonaire is our absolute favorite. We cannot wait to get back there and we will not stay anyplace else. This place is a little slice of Heaven!! Thank you so much Christine for your hospitality and kindness!!

Water sport paradise
Our week in Bonaire was wonderful! My husband did 6 dives with the dive shop next door to our condo, and I did a bit of snorkeling at the nearby public beach which I walked to. However, it would not have been as good a vacation if we hadn't chosen the perfect place to stay. We felt very comfortable as soon as we walked into the pretty and clean condo. Everything we needed was supplied, and we found the location excellent for diving trips and for exploring the rest of the island in our rental car (from across the street). We enjoyed watching the boats come and go from our balcony, loved the landscaping, and relaxed in the pool. As stated above, we loved our vacation in Bonaire - certainly enhanced because we stayed at Reefs Edge.

Two weeks in paradise
Beautiful condo, just as described. Amazing view from balcony, overlooking ocean, Klein Bonaire and Kralendijk shores. The trade winds keep the condo cool and comfortable. Great snorkeling off dock and from Te Amo beach next door. Te Amo beach is also great place to scuba dive from with Kite City food truck for after dive lunch of fresh fish sandwich’s. Airport is short walk across street and not a noise nuisance at all. Only few flights a day in afternoon or early evening and hardly noticeable. Dive friends is literally the next building over so easy access to dive supplies and air. There is so much to do in Bonaire, can’t wait to go back. Downtown Kralendijk is is only 5 to 10 minutes away depending on where you are going

Fabulous condo overlooking the Caribbean Sea
My husband and I spend 2 weeks here. The location was perfect. Just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store or a 7 minute drive to downtown where the vast majority of the restaurants are. The property manager met us at the airport and we walked literally across a 2 lane road to the condo. The view was amazing! Even though the airport is right there, we were never bothered by the noise. There are only a few flights a day in and out of Bonaire, so that was never an issue. The condo was nice and quiet. It isn't a resort, but a unit in a complex, so it is very quiet. There was a dive shop right next door. The people at the dive shop are super helpful with suggestions of good dive sights. There is a washing machine to use, and a dishwasher too. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thanks Christine!

Great Location, Great Panoramic View, Outstanding Breezes !
My wife and I stayed at Reef’s Edge again for two weeks. It is a great 1 bedroom apartment with full well stocked kitchen. It has A/C but the location is perfect for great soothing breezes with the screened windows and doors open. Our favorite feature is the balcony overlooking Bonaire harbor, Klein Bonaire and the Caribbean Sea. The breezes on this covered balcony are outstanding. The apartment was super clean and very well organized and decorated. There is a clothes washer in a utility room and a fold up drying rack on the back balcony which is very convenient for drying laundry as well as wet items from snorkeling / scuba diving. There are two chaise lounges on the back balcony for relaxing and taking in the breezes and magnificent view. We used the fold-up beach chairs several times when we went snorkeling to several of our favorite snorkel spots ( Windsock, Bari’s Reef, etc). They have a BBQ grill if you want to grill some food. Dive Friends dive shop is right next to Reef’s Edge apartment making it super convenient for scuba tanks for shore diving as well as boat diving. I completed 27 dives during the two week period ( 8 boat dives and 19 shore dives). The owners were very nice to deal with and respond very quickly to any question or inquiry. This is a beautifully landscaped apartment complex with electronic gates so owners and guests feel very secure. The pool and access to inlet and local dive sites are great. There is a scuba equipment rinse tank and shower right on the water access platform. Do not hesitate to rent this great apartment. It has everything we needed for a great two week stay. Beautiful balcony view and great location
This condo is comfortable and convenient and right next door to Te Amo, one of the most beautiful beaches and dive spots on the island. Watching the sunset from the pool is awesome. We liked watching sea birds fishing right in front of us and iguanas and crabs climbing on the sea wall. Christine was very responsive to our emails and made sure our stay went smoothly. We would definitely come back here!

Near perfect vacation. Christine was a gracious, professional host and everything went seamlessly. I won’t repeat other’s praises but do have a few comments. The Wi-Fi has been upgraded and is excellent, easy connection and no problems. One reviewer mentioned noise from the compressors next door, I never heard that, in the morning and early afternoon, you might hear a few minutes of noise as the dive boats next door unload and load, but really trivial. And in the course of the day, there might be two planes taking off, all in all, the quietest vacation resort we have ever rented. A pleasant surprise, the weather was excellent not the humid oppressive tropical humidly you might expect, the constant breezes keep you comfortable. And for a small Island, they have a lot of excellent restaurants and even now at the tail end of the season you do need reservations. Our favorite was La Cantina Cerveceria, at Kaya Grandi 12, excellent food, good prices and great atmosphere. Bottom line, would I go back? Definitely. Would I recommend it to my best friend? Definitely, the only caveat, it is a divers/snorkelers destination.

Absolutely perfect!
The property was just as promised and the location was perfect. Being right across the street from the airport sounded like an odd idea at first but it was a total non issue for noise and actually very convenient. The location was great. It was a nice long walk into town, an easy drive to Sorobon beach and who doesn't love snorkelling right from your own property? The kitchen was well equipped. The pool area and chairs were very nice. We spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the cruise ships go by, the setting sun and the dive bombing pelicans. It was all very easy to plan and Christine was quick to respond during the booking process.

Lovely view, convenient location, great pool.
The apartment was well-located on the water. The apartment is very well-furnished with a very comfortable bed and lots of kitchen equipment. It is very clean and easily maintained. The wifi, TV etc. were very good. The breeze kept the apartment nice and cool. We didn't have to use the air conditioning at all. The dive shop next door was most convenient. The only negative thing was the noise level at times as the apartment is very near to the airport, a construction site and the dive shop air filling station for the dive tanks which also clang around a lot when being moved. It was, however, relatively quiet from 10:00 pm on until around 7:00 am. Overall, it is a very good place to stay.

Awesome Place
We really loved and enjoyed this place. If you are a diver, the location is PERFECT, right next to Dive Friends. If you are interested in taking an easy dive, you can also take a dive right from the pool area to Donkey Beach; so if you want to take an easy night dive, there you go (However, be careful of the boats coming in and out of the channel to/from the Port Bonaire). The pool area is an excellent place to relax after a great day of diving, or to hang out with your kids. The view from the balcony is wonderful. You have a great view of the port, downtown and Klein Bonaire. The unit is very clean and comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. As a person who likes to cook, I found the kitchen fully equipped with everything I needed (e.g. numerous pots, pans, & cooking utensils, plates, dishes, glasses, etc.) Unfortunately, the condo complex does not allow bbq'ing on condo complex grounds. Even though we only used the air conditioning in the bedroom, since the ocean breezes through the condo are wonderful, there are 2 ac units in this condo. Also, the host was very friendly and accommodating, and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend staying at this condo.

This resort is eveything it claims to be.
My wife and I stayed at Reef's Edge for one week and were delighted with the accommodations. The apartment was large, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we expected (dishes, cookware, lots of large towels, etc) and some things we didn't expect (candles, tea, spices, aluminum foil, some first aid items, books on Bonaire). The location is excellent, being close but not too close to town and supermarkets. We were a little concerned about its proximity to the airport (literally across the street), but that too turned out to be a plus. Noise from air traffic was minimal and barely noticeable, and our easy access to the car rental was very convenient. When we booked our car, we didn't realize that a pickup truck is a necessity for visiting the national park. No problem! We just walked over and arranged for a swap at no cost. The easy access to snorkeling right off the resort's dock was also very convenient, and the small, well-maintained swimming pool was most welcome after a day's activity. We ate all our dinners on our veranda and watched some magnificent sunsets. If we return to Bonaire, this is where we will stay.

Great locale, quiet and beautiful ocean view!
The condo at Port Bonaire is lovely and in a great location mid island. We could dive either the north or south end of the island with little driving. The dive shop is just next door- very convenient! I was concerned that it was right next to the airport, but it was not a problem at all. We heard no noise and it was nice being so close for arrival and departure. The condo had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and the neighbors were quiet. Our favorite aspect by far was the balcony with a beautiful view, nice breeze, distant music from a neighboring resort and passing boats. We loved watching the large iguanas on the rock ledge below. Would definitely recommend!

The dive shop next to our unit was conveniently located with very friendly staff. Port Bonaire is just a few minutea from downtown and even closer to the supermarket and gas station. Great Location with Outstanding Views
We stayed in this beautiful 1 BR apartment with a fully equipped kitchen for two weeks. The apartment is in the private Port Bonaire Apt Complex which has gated privacy/security fence and plenty of private parking. It is very convenient being across from the airport terminal but one rarely hears any aircraft. The covered patio/terrace facing the Caribbean offers unobstructed panoramic views of the Caribbean including Klein Bonaire and the coastline all along the western side of the island up to the northern tip ( National Park). Very impressive. Another advantage (especially for scuba divers) is the apartment is right next to the Dive Friends dive shop which offers a 20% discount to renters!. This makes boat diving and tank refills for shore diving incredibly convenient. There are about 20 great shore dives just minutes away from the apartment by car / truck. You can also snorkel or take a dive right from the private pool /dock area to sites like "18 Palms" and "Te Amos" without leaving the private Port Bonaire apartment complex. They have stairs access into the water from their private dock including showers and a rinse tank. The pool is beautiful and super clean.....outstanding after snorkeling / diving or to watch the sunset. Windsock Beach a wonderful SHADED beach just south of the complex within a few minutes walk. Windsock is great for swimming and snorkeling. Don't miss the Kite City food truck right to the south of the complex. This wonderful apartment gave us everything we needed for two great weeks of diving, snorkeling and relaxing. We cook many meals at the apartment, going out to some fabulous restaurants just a couple of times per week. The apartment is squeaky clean and the on-site apartment manager is very supportive if your need anything or have questions. The owner is also super responsive to any inquires / questions. To me the most impressive aspect of this apartment is sitting on the back terrace with the constant cooling trade winds keeping you comfortable while you look out at the unobstructed view of the Caribbean Sea ( with or w/o a glass of wine or ice cold beer!) Do not hesitate to rent this Caribbean Gem !! Dan & Karen ( from NJ)

We had a wonderful stay at the reefs Edge Condos. Christine was very responsive to all our needs and we would definitely stay there again. The location was perfect for us with a Dive Center right next door. The condo was very clean and newer than several others we considered. We had a great stay at Reefs Edge. The property manager met us at the airport and walked us over. Tidy one bedroom with a glorious balcony and great breezes. The kitchen was well stocked though we did not cook there at all. Bed was comfortable. Ac worked great but with the breezes we used it only to sleep at night. We did use the property’s access to both dive and snorkel. Very east access in and out of the water but a short swim up the canal to get to the reef. Loved sitting outside and watching the boats go by and the pelicans hunt. Owner communicated well about what would be provided. Took her recommendation on a truck rental and was very pleased.

FABULOUS
The property location could not be beat. It was beautifully maintained. The a/c worked well and the views were matchless. Loved it. Would return in a heartbeat.

Reefs Edge had both ideal accommodations and location.
From the balcony we ate breakfast while pelicans dove into the calm water for theirs, and resident iguanas emerged from the shadows claiming their spots to soak up the sun on the rocks below. Our days were spent driving from dive site to dive site in a small rented truck where we would embark to snorkel. We enjoyed the diverse marine live at each location. Our favorites were Jeff Davis Memorial, 1000 steps, and Karapata. Not to be overlooked are the areas just a stones throw from the pool deck. On one afternoon, we saw a green moray eel, and lazily swam with a school of blue tangs, and a hawksbill turtle. The pool area was also a splendid spot to read a good book and/or sip on a great cocktail in the early evening. If you fancy viewing the orange sun slowly dip down below the horizon into the blue sea, you are in luck. The beach area adjacent to the property is one of the best spots. Watching the sun set with your toes in the warm sand, a cold beer in one hand and your loved ones in the other is always magical. Dinners out on the balcony, looking out at the island of Klein Bonaire, and the lights of Kralendijk were also special. The supermarket had all the provisions needed and the condominium facilities were more then adequate for us to prepare our meals all week long. We never were in need of anything. The owners, Christine and Gary, were extremely helpful with tips for maximizing our island get away. Their property manager was always on call though never needed. The week we spent in Bonaire at Reefs Edge was truly memorable. Bob and Diane from Chardon, Ohio, USA

Nice location & Accommodations!
We really enjoyed our stay at Reef's Edge. The location across from the airport was very convenient. We stayed for 12 days. When we 1st arrived, we dropped our luggage at the condo & got a cab to take us the the Warehouse grocery for about $10 USD each way. Snorkeling from the unit was very good around to the left in front of Tae Amo Beach. We saw turtles, octopus, squid, barracuda & all of the tropical fish. Christine was very good responding to my questions. She arranged for a rental truck for me to be delivered & picked up at the condo. A vehicle is nice to get around. Christine also gave advice & directions to restaurants & attractions we might enjoy. We used the small wash machine a couple of times & hung the cloths out to dry on the patio. We didn't have any mosquito problems in the condo. The bed, pillows & bedding were very comfortable. It was nice to have A/C in the bedroom, because we had the windows closed to keep the road noise out. A few negatives: 1) The WIFI internet only worked about 25% of our 12 day stay. Other units who had their own modems had very good internet. This was disappointing because we had planned to do some work through the internet during our stay. 2) The manager didn't show up until 1/2 way through the stay. (The old manager was replaced by a new one.) The new manager was very helpful. We had a few questions that Christine answered for us via email until the new manager took over. 3) The lock on the safe never worked. 4) The noise from the air compressor at the dive shop next door was so loud, we couldn't have our windows & door open when it was running. 5) The televisions & remotes are out dated. We couldn't get remotes to work regularly. Christine was gracious by compensating some of our issues with a gift certificate to one of the local restaurants on the ocean front. Thank you!

I am happy you enjoyed your time in Bonaire. I apologize For the inconveniences you experienced with The replacement of the manager and the internet. We are getting our own Wifi and modem this month So we do not have to rely on another anymore. I will look into replacing the tv's and remotes soon. Great Views and Balcony
The positives: We rented this place because we really wanted something close to town with a great outdoor space and views, views, views. The unit did not disappoint on either of these criteria. Great balcony and VIEWS and we used this space a lot during our stay! The grounds were very well kept and the pool was always clean, neat and quiet. Nice snorkeling and diving right next to the unit. Close to the airport but not a problem as not many planes coming or going. Overall unit A-102 was good for 2 people for 1 week stay. The not so positives: The unit is right next to the dive shop which is handy but it is so close you will hear the compressor run every time they turn it on to fill tanks. The internet in the unit was slow to nonexistent most of the week. If we got up early in the morning or stayed up late at night it worked OK but was very slow during peak hours. We found this to be really bothersome when trying to work or surf the net for information. We were told to go to a local restaurant to connect which is unacceptable since the unit says they have internet. Bathroom situation was a little small and awkward but was OK for our one week vacation.

Thank you for your review and I am glad you enjoyed The Reefs Edge Bonaire condo. We agree it is all About the view which is what sold us on this unit! I agree the internet can be slow at times during Peak hours if there are several people on at once. Every year we try and make improvements to satisfy Our guests. We are now setting up our own wireless Service which will be completed in the next week or So in order for our guests to not have to compete With other guests during peak hours. We apologize For any inconvenience this caused and we hope You come back and see us again.
