Ottimo soggiorno per un capodanno in Slovenia. L'albergo si trova a Kranj, praticamente a metà strada (30 km circa) tra altri due importanti siti d'interesse: La capitale Lubiana e il Lago di Blend.. La struttura ci ha permesso di assistere ad un concerto di fine anno praticamente sotto casa. Il proprietario è gentile e subito pronto ad esaudire le nostre richieste. Le camere sono insonorizzate bene e altrettanto bene è la pulizia. I parcheggi sono accessibile a 5 minuti a piedi dalla struttura. Direi ottimo! Alla prossima!

Our room was ready early which was great. The owner provided us a "to-go" breakfast as we needed to leave the property before breakfast was bing served. The room was quiet. Very walkable to local resterants.

I definitely do not recommend this hotel

I had a terrible experience at this hotel and do not recommend it. Despite completing online check-in days in advance, I never received the promised access codes. On arrival I couldn’t get in and had to call the receptionist. The first room was dirty, with used sheets and towels on the floor. After waiting 10 minutes, the receptionist offered me two double rooms instead of the family room I had booked, and promised me a discount. The next morning the hotel charged me for the full stay anyway. The receptionist said the discount would be settled at check-out, but he wasn’t at the hotel, didn’t answer calls, and ignored my messages. Even the “cleaned” room was dirty — see the fridge in the photo. This is the worst hotel service I’ve ever experienced.

A/C didn’t work. No response from property manager. Receptions was supposed to be available until 11PM, but no one was there when we arrived at 8:00 PM. The bathroom soap/shampoo dispenser was completely empty. Sheets were dirty. I messaged the property multiple times prior to 11PM, no response.

We loved the town of Kranj and its aesthetic! It was straight out of a movie with narrow alleyways, a wedding in the center of town and wonderful locals. While we didn’t get the best night sleep (we suspect because of the wedding that happened to occur during our stay), the place was quite pleasant. We almost graded this stay down a smog but the host who’s name I can’t right now remember was wonderful, friendly, and opened up his kitchen an hour early the next morning when he heard we had an early flight. What a wonderful host and man. I believe his father owns the location and our host runs it and he made sure that we had plenty of food to eat on the run as we departed for the airport. And the breakfast food? Spectacular! Fresh cut ham, grilled bread with cheese…there were other “American” options like cereal but the breakfast sandwiches he made for us were delicious! Seriously, I recommend staying for those sandwiches if you can. There is a small stream nearby, perfect for soaking your feet and look out for the fairy house on the way down to the stream. Parking is free for two hours and then it costs but only until 6pm. Also, the host is a Lakers fan. Go Lakers!

There are a few things which can be done better. Our floor was not clean. It would have been nice to walk barefoot but we could not. It was quiet and the beds were good. We had a crib for free. The check in procedure was easy and very practical. We had all the instructions needed. The link you sent before we came was also very informative. The breakfast took a bit long because the lady was alone doing everything. She was friendly though and asked sorry for the inconvenience. Better planning would help next time. All in all we are satisfied. We just stayed for a night though.

Nice place in town

Very friendly hostfamily. Breakfast was good. The churchbells in the area were very loud early in the morning, but that is probably the case everywhere in this town. Location is in the middle of everything.
