This apartment made my holiday a nightmare. First of all, the price was 5 stars but the apartment was like 2 stars maximum. Though the location was convenient, the room cleanliness was sub standard. The furniture were old and the surface of the cupboards, tables were dusty with lots of scratches. The most unacceptable thing was there were so many ants coming out from cupboards in the kitchen. They provided daily cleaning but the staff just replenished the water and made up the bed sheet without changing it. The floor was not cleaned neither the table nor toilet. And the ants problem was not tackled with just spraying a little bit of cleaner then the staff said it was done. They had not try their effort to deal with it. And another horrible experience was the air conditioning either it was too cold or just like shut off. I didn’t have a good night sleep every single night as I was woken up by the warm temp or the chill. And I don’t know it was lucky or not, when the day I checked out, I saw a bunch of hair in the kitchen floor. And I am so sure it was not from me or my mom as we both had short hair which hardly could Make a bunch of hair in one over night because the hair was not found before I slept at the night before checked out. I would recommend you think twice before you book this apartment, must be a regret!

It won’t be my first choice to stay again
They didn’t clean the used soap of previous customer. And the air-con is too cold which is not able to adjust. The cold and strong wind blow directly to the head when sleeping. One window in the toilet is broken and cannot close. I am so worried if anyone can come in from that window.

Too little towels were offered for the room and stain on the sofa. Need to go to 12/F for check in not so convenient. But I will still come back next time.
Room is good and would be better if hair conditioner and better iron board is provided.

Not recommended
Very old apartment and everything is not working well. Upholstery was dirty and stained. Not recommended. For this price we could have got a much cleaner and better hotel.

Everything you need literally can be found within minutes of walk. I mean everything! Ranging from necessities to luxury goods or electronics and sporting stufs. A cinema within Sunway, a theme park, a huge-ass pool with the worlds largest Wave Pool. I mean, can't really as for more apart from the very old furniture that felt like it was falling apart...

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The photos posted are nothing like the actual condition of the room we stayed in. The room needs a serious update. Curtains have holes, bedsheets and pillows are full of stains, towels smell foul, and the furniture are worn out. Did I mention check in and out is down at the basement level where the emergency exit and parking garage entrance is? The only positive things I can think of is the location of the hotel and the friendliness of the hotel reception staff. Please stay away from this hotel!

Worse Hotel
This is the worse hotel I had ever stay. Will not come back again. Smelly and uncomfortable stay. Fridge is not cool and the parking lot have not operate , can’t get out and I get hurt no one help. Ridiculous!

First and last
Hotel room was old, pillows were old and flat, mattress hard. Air con compressor was noisy. Worst of all, reception only operates from 8am to 10pm. I check out at 7:30am and couldn’t get my deposit back!!

In need of upgrading!
The check in counter was pathetic. We walked through a posh lobby only to be ushered to the basement. What a drastic change. Looked more like a goods receiving counter more than a check in counter.
Rooms were clearly old and definitely lacked maintenance. The shower curtains smelt bad but we could not get them changed as there wasn’t any housekeepers then. Only consolation was the large room!
Definitely in need of an upgrade urgently!!

Resort suites is co located in the same building as Sunway Pyramid Hotel and shares the same parking facilities. So it is very convenient for shopping, dining and visiting the Sunway Lagoon theme park. Just wear your swim gear from your room to go. Parking is not complimentary for Resort Suites guest nor is there any per entry system i.e. you pay general public rates and you can go in and out as necessary. Rates is about RM20 per day from midnight to midnight but I couldn’t make sense of the exact rates. The room has 1 bathroom, a kitchenette with some basic cutlery and crockery , 2 beds and balcony. Towels and basic toiletries are provided and there is a minimal housekeeping service everyday (change towels and empty bins). The check in process was abit wonky, with Resort Suites not having my booking despite me receiving an email from them asking if I needed airport transfer services. While the counter staffer was friendly and tried his best, his supervisor told him to tell me Expedia messed up my booking and I should check with “Raintree”, apparently another smaller operation also operating out of the same set of serviced apartments. I had to contact Expedia and Craig from Expedia was very helpful in clearing up my situation. Kudos to Craig and the unknown male counter staff from Resort Suites for smoothing out everything but points deducted for the Resort Suites backend for first losing my booking and then trying to duck by pushing me to another operator.
