Magnolia cottage Kuaotunu

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful cottage. Highly recommend the cottage, the great communication from the owners and friendliness of locals. Only thing we would have liked would have been a sun umbrella for the outside table, unable to use the great deck setting during the hot sunny days

Lovely house with gorgeous garden. Literally a hop, skip and a jump to the beach. The shower was amazing.

Great location, lovely holiday house... all you need!

We loved our stay...a gorgeous holiday house with everything you could need. Beach across the road, Luke’s Kitchen a wander down the road for pizza and wine and coffee! Lovely big deck to sit out on while the kids ran about on the big front lawn. Would definitely stay again...

Cozy Cottage

A lovely cottage which is well-kept with with up to date fittings and equipment. A friendly neighbour and a pretty garden add to the sense of satisfaction. The beach is not visible from the bach but is located just across the road and over a small mound. The lively Luke‘s Kitchen is just down the road and serves as the perfect holiday eating place. Although described as having two bathrooms, the bach only has a single bathroom with a separate toilet.

Excellent position yet convenient walk to the village and Luke's Kitchen. Right opposite beautiful beach - perfect for my morning dip! Beautifully appointed property, with lovely sunny deck, fragrant plants. Superb kitchen and bathing facilities. Beautiful garden - thanks for the tomatoes and courgettes and chillies! A lovely retreat. Just perfect.

We loved staying at Magnolia Hideaway.

We loved staying at Magnolia Hideaway. The location is unbeatable, right across the road from a 5-star beach, far from the madding crowd but with Luke's Kitchen pizzeria and bar a short stroll away. The bach is lovely, has been nicely modernised with a great modern kitchen and bathroom area. There's a big deck that leads out to a huge, fully fenced lawn - perfect for young children. The one downside was there were lots of flies around so maybe a fly spray dispenser could help during summer!

This is a beautiful spot for a holiday. The house is fantastic and well set up with everything we could possibly need and it was extremely clean and well maintained. We appreciated the veggies from the impressive veggie patch and our kids adored the huge tree in the garden. We loved being just across the road from the beach. We'll be back. Thank you.

Amazing location opposite one of the most stunning white sand beaches.

Amazing location opposite one of the most stunning white sand beaches. Fantastic property with all the basic essentials provided making for an easy stay, including fluffy towels and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking up some great meals. Perfect rental for the two of us 'grown ups' and our toddler son, who loved the toy box!! We cannot wait to be able to plan another trip back :-)

We had a wonderful getaway at Magnolia Hideaway.

We had a wonderful getaway at Magnolia Hideaway. The magnolia tree in the front garden is magnificent and the house and garden are very well kept. Lovely deck at the front, well-decorated rooms and comfy sofas (the warm throws and the heaters were appreciated during the cooler evenings). We loved being able to hear the waves at night - such a soothing sound. The beach across the road from the cottage is stunning. A very peaceful and beautiful location.

We loved Magnolia Hideaway - the furnishings are lovely - fluffy throws welcome in the evenings - bed linen was gorgeous - loads of pillows and extra blankets - lots of towels appreciated too. The kitchen already stocked with basics that you tend to forget like coffee etc was a blessing on the first morning! Liked the herb garden too which we added to our salad. Outdoor furniture great and beach even better. And the bach was immaculately clean - couldn't fault anything about it. Thank you!

An absolutely beautiful property.

An absolutely beautiful property. Literally over the road from the beach with all the comforts of home. Looks recently renovated with loving care to a great standard. Secure front and back gardens for kids and double kitchens doors opening onto the deck for inside/outside eating. Could not recommend this property more! The local restaurant does absolutely huge mussels and the best sweet potatoes chips I have ever had. Surrounded by more beauitful white sandy beaches. Stunning place!

We just loved the location and the house was well thought out (we really appreciated a lightly stocked pantry for basics), clean and comfortable, Unfortunately we didn't read the user guide thoroughly and it wasn't until the end of our stay did we realise that water supplies were via tank water. V.sorry! Recommend popping this info at the top of the guide and a sign in the bathroom. Let us know if you ever want to sell. Regards, Kat & Martin Fraser
