The hotel is in a great location. Excellent breakfast options - try the sarawak laksa. Staff are very helpful and the concierge was able to find tours for a solo traveller without having to pay for 2 people. I stayed in one of the older, cheaper rooms and the bathrooms are in need of renovation however it was still clean and everything worked well.

This hotel is centrally located at the town Kuching which nearby lots of toursim spot. However, this hotel need refurbishment...When i checked in, the door lock is spoilt and the table for business purposely is collapsing

I've stayed here several times now over the last 30 years. There are better hotels around for sure but The Grand Margherita is consistently a good standard. Try and get one of the newer refurbished rooms, my last stay was in one of the older rooms (8th floor) and it's sadly in need of some TLC. Still adequate but could do with updating

Overall a comfortable stay, just no toothbrush/paste was provided. Phone was without instruction/extension to connect to housekeeping. Overall rooms was clean but shower curtain need to be changed with obvious stain seen.

Excellent Staff but bad maintenance of room

The carpet were all stained and appeared dirty. Toilet flush was erratic and unable to stop water from flowing. No floormat provided and had to specifically request for it. Towels provided were visibly old (yellowish/greyish). The ONLY saving grace is the lovely and friendly staffs at the front desk that is very meticulous to my requests.

Clean hotel, great breakfast

This hotel is ideally located in the centre of the city, it’s located right across 2 famous streets in Kuching. Hotel breakfast is great, rooms are clean and room cleaning is done daily.

Nice hotel for a few nights stay. A few issues like the shower head kept falling out of the stand and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable, but all in all it was a comfortable hotel with a decent breakfast, helpful staff and really well situated. Would stay again.
