The location is fantastic, offering a beautiful view over the town and being just a few minutes' walk from the castle. A shuttle bus to the town center stops right in front of the property, which is very convenient. Since we had an early excursion and didn't have time for breakfast, the staff kindly……

“This is a charming pension-style hotel with beautifully maintained rooms and lovely common areas. The bed was comfortable and the hot water plentiful. The breakfast was very pleasant. Hotelier permitted an early check-in without problems.”

“No parking, again it is a Expedia disease, to lie and exaggerate about their listings . Fed up of “only one room left “ No elevator, no receptionist on arrival. Useless if you have a vehicle; are elderly; or disabled. The view from the breakfast room is amazing. No coffee at breakfast , it comes from next door. Location is very good”

“The guesthouse is not accessible by road and we were notified about it 1 day before travel (when we told the owner about it afterwards they said we should have known based on Google Maps and description of it being under the castle, I wonder who would check accessibility for a hotel you plan on staying in?). We first thought we might be able to manage taking our suitcases up, but the distance from road to guesthouse is long and steep and impractical for anyone with large bags. It perhaps works……

“The owner/ host was amazing ! Super accommodating , sweet and helpful. They were more than happy to get us information for our stay / things to do / transport…etc. Gabriella was also kind enough to make us home cooked breakfast in the morning at the time of our choosing. The room itself was clean , proper and equipped with everything we needed. Location wise was perfect, we had a view of the old town, especially beautiful at night. We were close to everything. 10/10 would recommend. It really……

“Excellent stay in Berat — highly recommended! We had a wonderful three-night stay at Hotel Mimani in Berat while traveling with another couple. Everything about our experience was excellent. The owner and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They truly made us feel at home throughout our stay. The continental breakfast was very good, with a nice variety and fresh options each morning. The atmosphere of the hotel was warm and relaxing,……
