「This is an excellent location for Haleakalā sunrise and also the back road to Hana. I highly recommend leaving early and doing the back road to Hana, it was amazing to have the road basically to yourself until you reach PipiWai Trail. As for the property, it is beautiful and clean and the views are lovely. Delightful hosts. But honestly the setup is a bit odd-you can really hear every little thing the hosts are doing in the kitchen, so it isn’t truly private. Just a flimsy plastic door separates...

「I liked the thoughtfulness and generosity of the staff and their friendly interactions. I also appreciated the late check out because I overslept.」

「I saw a scorpion on the floor of our room, the refrigerator make a lot noise and the room is very small.」

「Hilton Grand Vacations Club Maui Bay Villas is an exceptional beautiful property with a great room layout and upscale furnishings that make you feel like you’re staying somewhere special. The staff was very helpful with expedient chech-in/check-out, detailed information about property layout, services, and other amenities available. HBVC has pride in their property as the grounds themselves are beautifully maintained with the several pools, waterfalls and an adequate gym. Plus, the property...

「We stayed in room 3 and although there was a disclaimer about the noise from the street, it did not mention how bright the room is even during the nighttime. There were blinds on the windows but they did not keep light out very well. Room darkening shades or curtains in addition to the blinds may have helped. It did not get dark over night. We found it difficult to sleep past 6:00 am. One side of the mattress sloped and it could stand to be replaced. We also found the common areas to be in...

「Overall we had a wonderful stay as we visited on a family vacation with our 3 children. Staff were very friendly, pool was great, beautiful location! I will say though that the beds were horribly uncomfortable. My husband had to quite literally sleep on the couch cushions placed on the ground as the bed was extremely hard, shook constantly due to any movement. I slept on the bed with our baby and didn’t sleep well the entire week. This is the only issue we had as the matttess topper also was...

「The pros are the hotel has great facilities for families, they have some really good slides for the kids, an arcade room, a Starbucks nearby and also car rental. There are two restaurants onsite and a few others within proximity. I also like the lobby area where they have a couple of tree swings, chess and some activities for the kids. That said, in terms of value, the room does not justify it. The bed was creaking, toilet is really small (you can’t even open the the door fully without swiping...

「A very peaceful property overlooking the ocean. This was a wonderful getaway for my wife and I.」

「Nice resort, however facilities are a bit old.」

「We had a lovely stay at Kevin’s condo. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked up on basic spices, condiments, coffee, etc which was a bonus. Kevin also provided beach supplies such as beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, etc. The location is great. It’s close to many restaurants and right next to a beach where you can spot turtles! Also this place has a pool and hot tub jacuzzi which was our favorite after a long day. And there is laundry available in the condo complex...

「Clean and comfortable!」
