8.6/10 Excellent! (1,000 reviews)
This summer, we stayed at multiple hotels, all of which turned out to be good. But my family loved this hotel most. It's a little dated but well maintained. The staff members were professional, very helpful, and friendly. The hotel room was spacious. The laundry room, which had a vending machine, ice maker, and microwave, was very convenient. Minor complaint: I have to say that I don't like that we had to take a step to enter the bathroom (uneven levels which are common in old hotels in Japan). BUT I loved the shower (great water pressure, simplicity, and functionality). Good location: right by JR Okayama Station and the street car; lots of restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this hotel!
