"Staff were helpful and friendly, but we only spoke in Japanese so not sure if they accommodate guests from abroad very often. Food was ample and tasty (traditional Japanese foods) and served in the privacy of the room. Pillows are traditional Japanese style (small and somewhat hard) so I would recommend bringing your own pillow if you prefer a larger and softer pillow. "Beautiful property and inside/outside onsen. Splurge for the (9 course!) set dinner and breakfast option - we got lucky and were assigned a private room to enjoy the elegance. A wonderful place to stay in a wonderful town!"
