Lovely home in Sandvoll with WiFi

A beautiful cottage in a great natural environment. Steps from the garden down to the pier with great fishing and swimming in the refreshing water. There are good hiking opportunities nearby and a walk along the post road is recommended. You can also take a walk in Handelandsdalen along the river Feto. These are nice tours for young and old. If you want a more challenging tour, you can go to Varden in Sandvoll. From there you have a beautiful view of Sunnhordaland. It is not far to Husnes, where you will find stores, restaurants, golf course, swimming pool and a fitness center. Also take a trip to Rosendal with sights like Baronie Rosendal, Folgefonna Center and Steinparken. In addition, you can drive to Bondhusbreen, Buarbreen and Folgefonna Summer Ski Center, which are all part of Folgefonna National Park. Just a short drive from the house you can take the ferry to the beautiful village of Skånevik and continue your journey across the Åkrafjord with its spectacular waterfall Langfossen. Drive along the Hardangerfjord and also experience Trolltunga. Steep stairs down to the water.

  • It took us around two hours to get to the glacier through heavy rain, sleet, rough terrain and wind which threatened to blow our brains away. Not the easiest hiking route, I have to admit (well, it might be if the weather is welcoming and you're wearing a nice pair of water resistant boots) needless to say we were lacking any of those (dumb us). At some points you literally have to balance on a rope (very wet with ice cold water streaming down the sleeves as you're grabbing it) 90 degrees up the rocks. The very end is breathtaking though-massive pile of snow, ice and waterfalls all pale blue as the air is ridiculously clean there. Take extra care, however, the surfaces, little bridges and pathways get really slippery if it rains. Avoid if you're travelling with small children.

Abgewohnt

Schimmel in der Waschmaschine, Schimmel am Kühlschrank. Kein Topf in der Küche zu benutzen. Dreck in jeder Ecke, in jedem Schrank. 5 mal mit Novasol telefoniert. Kein Entgegenkommen, keine Hilfe. Vielen Dank. Nie wieder!!!
