This is the perfect location for a good price in Kyoto. It seems to be a recent construction, as the materials and finishes look modern and new. THE BLOSSOM KYOTO
Stayed at the Blossom for five nights. Great location. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed the amenities (onsen, laundry facilities, and coffee/tea available in the basement lounge)

Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo
As my first time traveling to Kyoto, I was amazed by how big and well-maintained my room was. The hotel wasn't new and modernized but with the location and price, everything was perfect. I wish they had an onsen, gym, and laundy room.
