A bungalow perfect for families. Air conditioning in every room. Access to the pool.
Albir: 6-person home with stunning views! Sea and sun. In a nature reserve on the Costa Blanca, I, Diana, have a beautiful 6-person home for rent in the town of Albir. Robert and Marijke are my co-hosts and help me out when I’m not in Spain. The house is located in a complex with several other homes. There is a shared pool that is open from mid-May through November. The home features a beautiful, luxurious kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, combination microwave/oven, induction cooktop, Senseo coffee maker, electric kettle, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, as well as cookware and tableware. The living room has a spacious seating area and a dining area. There is also a smart TV. If you have login credentials for Netflix, Disney TV, YouTube, etc., don’t forget to bring them along. There is a toilet on the first floor. Through a large sliding glass door, you enter a cozy garden with comfortable furniture. There is a parasol included, which will certainly come in handy given the frequent sunshine in Spain. From the garden, you can walk straight to the carport, which opens onto the street. The upper floor of the house has three bedrooms: one with a double bed and two with two single beds each. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink. Towels and bedding are provided. The rooftop terrace is accessible via the balcony, where you’ll enjoy stunning views of the mountains, villages, the sea, and more. Next to the complex is a beautiful nature park where you can enjoy wonderful walks. Some trails, such as the walk to the lighthouse, are ideal for inexperienced hikers. Of course, there are also hikes for experienced hikers. If you take the hike to the lighthouse, you can sometimes even see dolphins swimming. Albir Beach is clean and well-maintained, with small round pebbles. There is a sandy beach at the beginning. It’s also possible to enjoy water sports such as sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, diving, fishing, and more. A lovely stroll along the promenade to Altea is also highly recommended. It’s about a 3-minute walk. The old town of Altea is also definitely worth a visit. Albir has many residents and tourists from different countries, resulting in a very diverse selection of restaurants. From Albir, it’s also possible to travel by public transportation. From Albir, you can take the train or tram toward downtown Alicante or Denia. You can buy your ticket on the train. The train follows a scenic route along the coast. Some nice places along the way to Alicante include Villajoyosa, El Campello, Playa San Juan, and, of course, the final stop, Alicante. If you’re heading toward Denia, Calpe is also worth a visit, as is Denia itself. The bus to Benidorm or Altea also passes through Albir. This bus runs four times an hour. There’s plenty for kids to enjoy as well, such as water parks, Terra Mítica (an amusement park), Terra Natura (a wildlife park), and Robin Hood. In short, fun for all ages!
