Fabulous accommodation that never fails to offer a

A wonderful villa that offers everything you would need to enjoy your holiday. Set in beautiful gardens and includes a pool to cool down after soaking up the sunshine on the terrace. It’s tranquility means that you chill and relax but you’re not that far and could walk to the beach or drive into town to enjoy the local food and beverage! It’s also close enough to excellent supermarkets if you decide to self cater.

Très mauvais accueil de l agence(après 1200km de route), pas de tour de propriété, pas d explication..... Beaucoup d anomalies signalées (arbre couché au sol, matériels de chantier présents avec photos à l appui), mails envoyé aucun retour du propriétaire, aucun retour de l agence(BRAVO ça fait preuve de tout l intérêt porté aux locataires) Pas d abri voitures, toujours en plein soleil Aucun divertissement le soir à proximité, plage à 1 heure de marche Quasiment aucun produit de premier entretien Etc....etc... Points positifs, belle villa, belle piscine Pour le reste....... Et pourtant, je suis in fidèle d Abritel, 3ème villa de cette catégorie louée cheez vous en 4 ans En espérant vous relire bientôt.....

Wonderful villa, location and beach

Thank you for the reminder and apologies for delay writing the review. The villa was wonderful, as were the swimming pool and grounds, the peaceful location, and the Sant Jordi beach and beach bar. We enjoyed the tranquillity of the villa and loved the local towns of Ametlla de Mar and Hospitalet, and on the days we were feeling more adventurous we enjoyed the old town of Tarragona and the Roman artefacts, and Reus which my daughter particularly enjoyed and found it a shoppers paradise, while we enjoyed the architecture. We didn’t make it to Barcelona, maybe next time! Practical notes for guests considering this villa, it was spotlessly clean, and we were provided a mini kitchen/cleaning kit, and tea, coffee, milk and water, handy while we got ourselves sorted. If you are coming in the heat of the summer, you can stock up on very reasonably priced sun cream at the big Mercadona supermarket. Which also was great for all of our dietary needs, including my vegetarian daughter.

Lovely, clean villa in a great location. Fantastic pool.

5 of us stayed in July 2018. The villa was a perfect size for us, with teenagers able to have their own rooms. The BBQ was great and we hardly used the kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy, and the handover on arrival and departure was incredibly smooth and easy. The only slight 'complaint' was no pool towels; we had to buy some on our first day. The pool itself was perfect, and cleaned regularly during our stay.

Happy holidays

Happy holidays had by all the family! The property was very clean, the advert was accurate, the villa was just as we had hoped, and the views were just as good as described. We had a very good service from familyvillarentals.com and they were very helpful on arrival allowing us to setlle right in and enjoy our holidays straight away. We would recommend the villa and we are just sorting out our holiday dates to book again for next year.

Villa Oasis

Thank you to the Family Villa Rentals team for another great stay at Villa Oasis. We highly recommend the villa for a quiet family holiday, close to amazing beaches. We have stayed at many villas over the years and by far prefer Villa Oasis, because of the quiet location, the beautiful swimming pool, the huge gardens and the high quality of the villa in general. We were pleased to see that the villa owner has bought more outdoor furniture including some lounging chairs which we could use either on the balcony overlooking the sea or on the terrace overlooking the pool. All in all a great villa and another great stay.

Already booked to come back

We totally with the last review and we have already booked to come back next year. We love the villa, it has a traditional Spanish feel with all the mod cons. We were there during the heatwave when we had temperatures 32 degrees plus every day, the air-conditioning was a perfect, cooling the whole villa. The fixtures and fittings were all good quality and we found the kitchen well equipped, as well as enjoying many nights barbecuing and we enjoyed the comfortable outdoor “chill-out” furniture. We were very pleased with the villa cleaning, in fact it was the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The towels and bed linen were of good quality and freshly laundered. We did not expect to receive beach towels as per the advertisement and we brought our own. We had an unforgettable family holiday at Villa Oasis and we can’t wait to return again next year. We also highly recommend this area, it is the nicest area of Spain we have been to with the most beautiful beaches and lovely friendly people.

Beautiful, well-maintained villa in a stunning, peaceful setting

This is a well-cared for comfortable family villa, albeit a little off the beaten track. We were looking for somewhere to just chill and this was the perfect place. The pool was fabulous as was the large, cactus filled garden. It kept both my two usually grumpy teenagers and 80+ year-old in-laws happy for the week. Everything worked and was exceptionally clean. The rooms were very comfortable and the villa had a real home-from-home feel. The beaches in the area were small but lovely but a little crowded in the middle of August. We did not feel the need to venture much further than the garden and pool. We made a trip into Barcelona on the train which although a little slow was easy. The local town of L'Ametlla was pretty with some good very Spanish seafood restaurants, though our favourite was "Esmeralda" at Les Tres Calas. The villa was in easy driving distance of two waterparks and Porta Ventura theme park. We met very few Brits on holiday in the area (unlike Majorca and the Costa-del-Sol!), finding instead that a lot of the people we met were Spaniards on holiday. We found the people to be very friendly and helpful even with my appalling smattering of Spanish. I would have no hesitation in recommending the villa and the area to anyone who wants to have a peaceful, relaxing holiday with the option to up the excitement if necessary for children.

Over priced villa with low quality fitings

I have rented villas all over the world and this 1 is the least value for money i have had - air con units in hallways so bedrooms are not cooled, even with doors left open, poor quality mattress in most rooms, no pool towels, bathroom towels tiny and old as was all bed linen and pillows, shower and bathrooms low quality and old fashioned, outside furniture poor and low quality, cheap plastic chairs, no bbq tools, if you have to stay in this area then you will pay a price, if you want a villa with high quality fittings, etc, linens and so on this is not for you, this owner is making the most they can from the renter - kitchen equipment again low quality, dreadful knives, limited info on the area, re places to eat, things to do and see,

Fabulous outside space!

We are about to book again for 2013, which reminded us we must write our review. We have staed in a lot of villas over the years and we can honestly say as a family we have never enjoyed a villa so much. The gardens are amazing and the children loved their adventures there. The pool is a joy too. We can't wait for the summer, we are just going to find it so hard to leave!

Villa Oasis

I have rented in this region for the past ten years, perhaps it was because of the glorious beaches, beautiful weather, friendly people, to name but a few things that make the region extra special. My kids were so mesmerized by the “cool pool” at the villa we spent our best vacation ever at Villa Oasis. L’Ametlla de Mar is more accessible, more friendly, and interesting than Hospitalet del Infant where we stayed previosuly. Try renting a canoe on the ebro, or taking the scenic “green route” cycle route through the magnificent countryside, a day out or 2 at the Portaventura themepark which rivals any of the disney parks, or hopping on a train to just about anywhere on the coast in either direction without worrying about parking. We were two related families—five adults and two children who travel together each summer, it was ideal. Thank you!
