The dawn alpenglow on the red maples by the falls just off your deck made photos and videos that will be woven into our tapestry of life. We much appreciate being able to share your bit of paradise.

We had a great time here. The Falls are such a huge plus for this place. Comfortable and clean. It is off the beaten path, but if that's what you are looking for, it is perfect.

This place was beautiful. I wish I had more time. I was traveling with my 73 year old mother and three kids. We all had a great time. My youngest child is 7 and she managed to safely manage the terrain. I could definitely go back and never leave.

This is a fabulous property. The road in to the cabin was in great condition, no problems. The waterfall is right off of the deck. So tranquil. It was great to unplug and relax. The cabin had some ants and that should be addressed, but overall a wonderful stay. We will see you next year!

The cabin is wonderful! The scenery from the screened in porch is amazing! The only complaint I have is the mosquitoes are terrible. We all camp and are use to some mosquitoes, but you couldn't go and make a campfire because the mosquitoes were terrible.

The property was exactly as described, including the 2 mile road from the highway. The house was clean and provided more than expected when it came to the kitchen and bath.
My 3 sons had the opportunity to explore, hike, fished and disconnect for a few days. The waterfall was beyond amazing, especially listening to it, at night, while playing cards on the screened in porch.
Thank you for an amazing family get away.

A little tricky to find, doesnt pop up on many phone apps. Follow owners directions and you'll be fine lol.
Once you find it you will love it. Way off the beaten path, situated on your own little waterfall. The cabin is very comfortable. We never had any issues with the solar power. Would highly recommend to anyone. Terrain can be tricky around the area so small children could have issues.

We loved our stay here, wish we could have stayed longer! The grounds are beautiful, nothing around. The sound of the waterfalls was the best. We did a lot of hiking, found the canoes and canoed a little bit. Walked the 2 miles to the road and picked 3 bags of blueberries that were so good. There were 5 beds in the loft so plenty of room for our 3 kids. Kitchen had all the necessities, nice bathroom and big bedroom on 1st floor. My favorite was the screened porch. We rode the mountain bikes and found all the fishing equipment- there is nothing you need to bring to fish.
Would strongly recommed and would love to return!

Love love loved the screen porch. Wouldn’t have stayed without it. The fishing gear, boots and waders were an unexpected surprise so that was nice too. Trails to the river with the canoe over the bridge was a bit hard to follow and since the guidebook said it was about a 20 minute hike, we gave up after about 35 minutes. Not sure why we missed it. Cabin was very well stocked! Never even saw a mouse too :) Great experience. We knew exactly what we were getting into based on your property description. Thank you for that!

Very private and secluded. The cabin was really clean. Didn't have a problem with the solar power. There is no air conditioning. However, it stayed cool inside considering how hot it got outside in the day about 87 degrees for the last week of May. At night you can turn on the propane wall units to stay warm as the temperature outside drops to 40 degrees. Good well water it was clean it did not have an odor. Upstairs was spacious. We enjoyed having movie nights there with a projector. The screened porch was great to hang out and watch the waterfalls. The bugs were awful. Bring lots of bug spray and a mosquito head net. There is roadside firewood and organic eggs for sell nearby. 5 bundles of wood for $20. A dozen of organic eggs for $5. The Michigamme Market and Dollar General are the closest stores if you forgot something. We had an amazing time. Definitely coming back!

Location is incredible, with waterfall just out the door. Building was a great example of how to build a log cabin. But, property is now in need of a great amount of TLC. Sliding Screen door torn, cheap ACE dead bolt lock on patio door, sliding closet door missing top roller, broken plywood on both screen doors as a repair to cover broken screens leading out to deck, deck is in need of repair and new coat of paint, deck and walk ways have been illuminated with cheap Walmart solar lighting screwed in with temporary sheet metal screws, and so on.. Screened in deck had many many old field boots left in a pile along with, what looked like boat cover thrown in.. Foods in cabinets full of bugs and dusty.
Place looks as though it is being used to make rental money but not use any of the profits to make required quality repairs.
Good for a bunch of guys to use as a hunting lodge, but not much more.

Awesome sight to stay. Falls were gorgeous and the nature was very grounding and refreshing. Only complaint is that the canoeing is overstated as the “rivers” were overgrown and not able to be safely traversed. This complicated the ability to fish the rivers. Otherwise a great place to stay and reconnect with nature, and we will definitely come back.

Exactly as described. Only the 2 mile road to the cabin: I wasn't bad at all actually (We went last week of May). Very pleasant vacation!

They had fishing poles and canoes to use and the scenery was beautiful.

The cabin was perfect, the views were great and the area was beautiful. The only small negative was the level of cleanliness. There was quite a bit of mouse poop throughout the kitchen area and the floors did not seem to have been cleaned. It was an overall great trip and we would recommend it to our friends.
