"We got in late. There was an amazing older gentleman that came out to help us. Our original room had a few issue and he didnāt stop helping us until another room and the issues were solved. Itās unfortunate I didnāt get his name. The room, property and surrounding area are what you would expect for the price and the location/city. It does the job. Room was clean. No complaints. "

"I hate to leave one of these reviews, but it's important if you have allergies or sinus issues. I've had friends who stayed here 6 months ago and had no issues, that's also important to note. The rooms were really musty and mold-smelling. I've had issues with mold before, I know that smell. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, they did all they could for us, even trying another room, which has a worse mold smell than the first one. Eventually, we ended up being transferred to the main hotel - pirates cove. We had a great time at the hotel. Legoland is great, I think the beach property needs a little love in terms of the rooms. I would rebook in the main hotel but NOT at the beach retreat. I hope this helps other families make decisions on where to stay! "

"I and my 89 year old mother stayed in this property for 4 days while visiting relatives. It was extremely clean and well equipped. The kitchen was well supplied for its size. The apartment had everything we needed. It was very quiet and very close to many resteraunts and Legoland. I would highly recommend it! The host was very thoughtful and considerate and responded very quickly to any needs."
