“Marcela is very welcoming, this is a very quirky and lovely place to stay. It is peaceful and is so welcoming it’s like staying in your own home. The honesty breakfast facilities are excellent, a little gem of peace. ”

Wer wandern will, ist hier an der richtigen Stelle, genauso auch wer die Málaga Gegend Abseits des Trubels erleben will. Was man hier nicht bekommt, ist all inclusive Urlaub und den ganzen Tag am Pool, der kleine beschauliche Ort in den Bergen überrascht aber mit einer lebendigen Atmosphäre.”

“This is a lovely place to stay, the outdoor and pool area is decorated beautifully. It is up a steep hill but easy enough to get taxis back from the main bar/restaurant area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. ”

“Natalia was a great host. She gave us excellent advice on where to go and what to do. Her home is beautiful, meticulously maintained. Our view from the Green Room was amazing. Great breakfasts!”

“Joachim und Nathalie sind sehr herzliche und tolle Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Joachim hat immer Tipps parat. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Dachterrasse war unser Highlight. Das Frühstück war gut.und ausreichend. Es gab jeden Morgen frisch gepressten Orangensaft. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.Vielen Dank und alles Liebe für euch !! Michaela & Ralf ”

“Tracey is an amazing host. We were thoroughly satisfied with the 3 nights at La Vieja Botica: - different daily quality breakfast, locally sourced (not forgetting Tracey's signature marmalede), fresh and tasty; by the olive's wood fireplace - modern and fully furnished room, extremely comfortable bed with an ever important door that opens out (able to continuously air the room is a huge plus) - spot on location for the el saltillo hike - just few steps away from the starting point”

“An und Frank haben uns ganz rührend empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr stilvoll eingrichtet und absolut ruhig gelegen. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft, der Whirlpool und auch der innen liegende Pool machen den Aufenthalt perfekt! Ein richtiger Wohlfühlort. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, schöner hätten wir es nicht haben können! Wir haben tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants bekommen, die beiden haben sich auch um die Reservierungen in den Restaurants……

“Prachtige locatie met heel mooi uitzicht over het dal. De eigenaren Jan Teun en Ria doen er alles aan om het hun gasten naar de zin te maken. Echt aan alles is gedacht. Overal gezellige zitjes in een prachtige rustige omgeving. Bovendien is er een heerlijk ontbijt, met liefde geserveerd door de eigenaren :-) Echt een aanrader!”

Pero lo más importante fue sentirse en casa y eso se percibe en cada rincón: la limpieza, el buen gusto y el amor brindado en cada detalle. Los dueños son respetuosos, atenciosos y muy cálidos. “One of most enjoyable (if short!) stays in a long while. La Madrugada is in an enviable position, with wonderful views down towards the sea/coast, and the magnificent surrounding mountains. Marco is a very welcoming host who wants you to enjoy your stay. The breakfasts we had on the patio were an absolute highlight. I hope very much to stay here again and I will highly recommend it. ”
