"Great spot just over the road from the station. Supermarket next door and in the station. Staff are excellent and very helpful. Explained everything I needed to know at check in. Basel card was brilliant used it on the trams a lot. Great breakfast, even got gluten free bread. Good range of things. Very quiet hotel, bed was excellent. Had a great stay here and would highly recommend."

"Booked 2 twin rooms but one of the rooms was very small, asked to be moved and this was dealt with without fuss. We didn’t have the Swiss adapter, again, dealt with. One couple had breakfast every morning and said there was great choice and plenty of it. Air conditioning worked perfectly so room was never too hot. Perfect location for wandering the back lanes/shops-in ‘Tourist’ Basel. Tram stop a short walk down the hill. All staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Would highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay here again."

"The first thing you notice about the property is it's location in the old town area of Basel. The next thing you notice is the beautiful view of the homes and businesses in the old but magical looking buildings. It just gets better from there. The staff great you immediately as you enter reception and pleasantly help you to get your room information. If you dropped of your luggage before the room was ready, like we did, when you come back to get your key, you find your luggage is already in the room. That was just our first afternoon. The room we had is small, but if you have traveled in Europe before, that is pretty normal. The room was on the upper floor and our windows, all faced the Rhine River, which was great. It proximity to old town mad it convenient to walk everywhere, and we did. Love this place and the staff. I would love to see it in winter during Christmas. I hope you consider this property for your stay in Basel."
