The view is awesome

Quaint cottage in a tranquil setting with all you need for a quiet get away from it all. Beaches a few mins drive and endless other places to visit

Really wonderful

This is a charming cottage in the woods with spectacularly beautiful views. We spent all our time on the terrace. Everything was convenient and attractive. The owner was responsive and helpful with anything we asked. The area has amazing beaches, and there are great places to visit all over Provence.

You pay for the view

The view, peace and quiet on the terrace are exceptional. However, the house or cabin is small (only for 2 people realistically) and rather cluttered with many wicker chairs, cabinets, etc. The bed is uncomfortable and a challenge to get in and out (140 cm in a room 180 cm wide). Appliances are new, but overall it is time to invest in bath and bedrooms, given the price.

Das Haus ist dringend renovierunsbedürftig und es steht viel zu viel Kram herum. Die Lage mit Terrasse und Meerblick ist dagegen herrlich.

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen, Geschäfte und Auflugziele trotzdem in der Nähe. Die von Herrn Proner zusammengestellten Informationen waren sehr hilfreich. Der Ausblick von der Terasse ist malerisch. Teilweise ist das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Ausstattung ist jedoch sehr umfassend.

Emplacement idéal.

Correspondait à nos attentes. De l'espace pour notre chien. Vue maginfique. Aucun soucis avec les équipements. Nous aurions apprécié pouvoir faire un feu dans la cheminée début novembre. La maison mériterait un rafraîchissement mais reste très agréable.

Un séjour pour prendre le temps, à l'abris de la frénésie du quotidien et grandes villes

Une jolie petite maison, toute en simplicité qui donne envie d'en savoir plus sur son histoire. Un séjour simple, qui permet de s'abreuver de calme. La nature est omniprésente, nous étions en harmonie dans ce lieu. Comme un retour à l'essentiel tout en ayant conscience de la chance d'être là, avec cette vue.

Si vous aimez le monde, les locations toutes modernes, alors ce n'est pas pour vous, mais si vous voulez du calme , une vue magnifique, et un logement bien cocooning, tres bien placé , alors c'est idéal, nous on a adoré .

Emplacement idéal mais propriétaire peu correct.

Des frais de ménage de 120 euros m’ont été annoncés après confirmation du devis et malgré mon action auprès d’Abritel pour contester ce montant, la somme a été prélevée sur ma carte de crédit après notre départ.

Résidence au calme avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la baie de La Ciotat .

Résidence très calme dans une pinède avec une vue sur la baie de La Ciotat exceptionnelle . Résidence avec climatisation Mais la cafetière électrique n'était pas au top , le lave-vaisselle ne fonctionnait pas , la fermeture des portes à clé est aléatoire , manque un éclairage sans minuterie sur la terrasse lorsqu'il fait sombre . Pas d'Internet donc pas de TV bien que cela ne nous a pas manqué.

Un très bel havre de paix

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le lieu, son calme, sa terrasse avec la vue magnifique sur la baie de St Cyr / La Ciotat. L’ endroit est idéal pour se retirer du tumulte habituel du bord de mer. La maison, au charme suranné et rustique offre cependant l’essentiel pour un séjour réussi, et nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs en tête. Merci beaucoup Barry !

Aussicht zum träumen

Wir waren als Familie zu dritt für 5 Tage an diesem wunderbaren Ort der Erholung. Das Haus ist zwar schon etwas älter aber es ist alles da was man braucht. Es gibt Spielsachen für Kinder, Bücher, und der bereits vorhandene Kaffe schmeckte vorzüglich. Die Aussicht lädt zum Träumen ein und nach einem Tag am Meer haben wir beim Abendessen den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Wenn es dunkel wurde waren die Sterne gut zu sehen. Danke das alles so gut geklapt hat. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Prachtig uitzicht op terras, huis okay. Keuken zwaar gedatteerd, badkamer onhygiënisch. Airco fijn.

Un site privilégié et de RÊVE

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. La propriété est exceptionnellement, merveilleusement bien placée. Le cabanon est resté dans son jus et c'est tant mieux. Il ne manque rien. Tout a été pensé pour que vous puissiez passer de très bonnes vacances. La literie du grand lit est bonne. Le cabanon est isolé de la vue de tous, la grandeur du jardin vous permet de n'avoir aucun vis à vis. Et que dire de la vue, extraordinaire, merveilleuse, à vous laisser sans voix. Je cherche un point négatif car il en faut toujours un ! mais rien ne me vient. Surtout ne changez rien ! Nous reviendrons dès que possible ...

Une villa très agréable et au calme près de la mer

Surplombant la baie de Saint-Cyr / La Ciotat, la maison est aménagée de façon personnalisée : le cachet des années 30 coquet car à la fois rustique et raffiné. Nous nous sommes très vite senti comme chez nous dans cette villa et avons profité au mieux de la terrasse bien équipée et dotée d'un splendide et reposant point de vue sur la baie. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié - le fait de trouver (et laisser disponibles pour les suivants) les consommables essentiels, ce qui évite de les transporter ou de courrir au supermarché le premier jour ; - la confiance du propriétaire et de la personne en charge du ménage ; - les petites routes étroites (et pentues !) idéales pour des balades en vélo jusqu'à la mer ou dans l'arrière-pays (nous conseillons d'amener une carte IGN au 25000 ou au 100 000ème pour mieux les explorer) ; - la grande terrasse offrant en permanence des coins ombragés ou ensoleillés et un pint de vue magnifique sur les collines environnantes et le rocher de La Ciotat ; - l'absence de télévision et de wifi qui permet de se retrouver vraiment en famille. Bref, ce lieu nous a permis de profiter de la mer dans le calme, la beauté et avec le confort idéal pour un séjour estival ou printanier.

Amazing views from terrace - highly recommended.

We rented this house for a trip to the area to enjoy some local food and wine for a short weekend getaway. It's a very romantic house and perfect for a couple or a family with two children. The house itself is very nice, and has all the required mod-cons, but the highlight is the amazing views from the house and the large terrace. We spent all of the time we could out on the terrace and ate of our most meals there, "al fesco" as they say. One of the best views of any house we've ever rented and we'd go back just for that. The local area is perfect for exploring. We spent some time in the nearby medieval village, Le Castellet and visited the Sunday market not too far up the road for regional farmers produce such as olives and the like. If wine is your thing (it is ours), there's Chateau Pibarnon down the road and the now internationally known Chateau Ott (made famous by it's shapely bottles and of course Paris Hilton's favorite Rose). We would come back here and the owner was particularly accommodating, providing ideas for local activities. May come back in summer with our kids, or maybe just the two of us again and leave the kids at home!

What a lovely place!

We stayed for ten days in April last year and we found it delightful. It's a small, charming cottage with two bedrooms that's very attractively furnished in bright colours and rattan, very Mediterranean feeling. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is adequate, with a shower, bidet, etc. The beauty of the place is the terrace with the view of the Mediterranean. We met some locals who told us that this house has the best view of the area. The owners have kept it as natural as possible, so that you enter via a pathway through a wooded area that keeps it totally private from the road, and come upon a spectacular sweeping view of the Mediterranean. We spent almost the entire time outside on the terrace and had all our meals there, even though, being April, it was sometimes a bit cool. We imagine it is wonderful when the weather is very hot, as it seems to be cooler there than in the villages and towns or in the valley. We toured a bit, and came across some of the most gorgeous sites we've ever seen--the Route des Cretes between La Ciotat and Cassis, and the Grand Canyon du Verdon, about two hours' drive north through some of the most charming villages and countryside. Thoroughly recommended for young and old!
