I booked La Fortuna retreat for my birthday trip to La Fortuna and I absolutely loved my stay! The staff was accommodating and very friendly, the property was clean and well organized, and they even decorated my room for my birthday without being asked to! The breakfast was also delicious and all the excursions were very close by. Overall I loved my stay here!

Beautiful property surrounded by lush greenery and tropical foliage, with an amazing view of the volcano. The staff were helpful, responsive, and easy to reach throughout our stay. Amazing stay at Fortuna Retreat. Quiet, scenic, and a perfect place to relax after long days exploring La Fortuna. The views and atmosphere made the trip feel really special. Wonderful hotel off the beaten path and super private. The room was fabulous. The bathroom was huge and the private pool was a huge plus. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the breakfast down the street was very good as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little hotel with amazing views of Arenal volcano. We are lucky enough to see the volcano every day of our stay with amazing views from our room. It’s not a big hotel but it’s very quaint and was perfect for our stay. The staff was very responsive to any questions we had. The pool is small but nice to hang out for a little. The room was beautiful and very clean.

We had a great stay at Fortuna Retreat. Only notes would be that the room could be a bit cleaner (in the corners of the bathroom, behind furniture) and the view from the ground floor rooms is not as advertised- you can’t get a clear view of the volcano. Otherwise the staff were amazing, the pool was lovely and the grounds were extremely well kept with beautiful greenery.

Fortuna Retreat is a beautiful boutique hotel – we were greeted when we arrived and shown around the property. Our room was very nice with a spectacular view of Arenal Volcano. The grounds were amazing, lush and verdant. The breakfast was at a nearby (short walk) restaurant and was delicious. We were extremely pleased with our stay and highly recommend this place.

Outstanding View of the Arenal Volcano from our room and the property was it beautifully landscaped and maintained. The restaurant associated with the hotel was an outstanding bird and sloth watching location
