We came here for honeymoon and the place was really cute, private, tucking in a rain forest. Staffs were knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast in another property which you need a car to or they would pick you up. Menu was fantastic, lots of options, with great view of the volcano, thus honestly the best breakfast we had in the entire trip. We were so sad leaving this magical place. Only thing to suggest was that wifi was kinda weak in our room, but other than that, super happy with our stay.

Staff was so friendly and the view from the rooms was breathtaking, we got lucky and the volcano came out as soon as we checked in. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Everything in the description is accurate — our stay at Sangregado Lodge was absolutely amazing, right in the heart of the rainforest. The view of Arenal Volcano from both our bedroom and bathroom was breathtaking. Francisco at the front desk was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast at Hibiscus was outstanding. While some activities are a 20–25 minute drive away, the lodge is perfectly situated — Mistico Hanging Bridges are just steps away. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene rainforest experience with spectacular views.

Sangregado is a wonderful lodge with great accomodations and staff. We especially appreciated the service from Francisco, Larry and Luis. The are warm, welcoming and very professional. The setting is spectacular and the room was excellent. the bed, bedding and bathroom were all excellent. Breakfast at the Blue Hibiscus was wonderful with a great ambiance and staff.

Clean room, breathtaking view, exceptional customer service, comfortable beds, hot rain shower with amazing view, cozy seated hammock, awesome coffee and fresh drinking water fountain. Das Zimmer ist ein Traum. Der Ausblick auf den Vulkan ist einfach fantastisch. Das Hotel ist nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen und das Frühstück gibt es in einem anderen Hotel, aber das ist nicht schlimm. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.

The staff were so nice and helpful. Everyone was very accommodating. Even thought the lodge was a bit secluded they helped with transportation if you need it. The view is amazing and I would definitely come back.

The most beautiful hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay at, gorgeous modern room with an awe inspiring view right at the foot of your bed. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they could not have done anymore for us, they were absolute wonderful. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Each room is like a private reehouse with a deck overlooking the volcano and the jungle. Wake up to the sunrise and sounds of many birds. The views are incredible. The staff, Larry, Luis and Francisco were incredibly helpful, taking care of every need and even coming to get us to show us monkeys on the property. Sangregado is directly across the parking lot for Mystic bridges Preserve with is an unforgettable experience. Be sure to get a guide. The Sangregedo lodge will arrange it for you. Free breakfast is great and the same restaurant also has dinner. The lodge is close to La Fortuna. We will definately be coming back on our next visit to Costa RIca.

The views of the volcano from our room were gorgeous! Each room is like a private treehouse. The rooms were very basic, but very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. Loved the rain shower with views of the trees.

Vue incroyable sur le volcan. Le personnel est attention et offre de bons conseils. Le complexe n’a pas de piscine , ni de restaurant sur place mais offre la possibilité d’utilisé les installations du Lost iguana qui est à 500 mètres. This hotel stay was spectacular. Staying in a room with floor-to-ceiling windows, immersed in the rainforest, with a perfectly framed volcano view, was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The hotel amenities are a bit spare, and the location is about 30 minutes from the nearest tourist area (Fortuna) + 2 minutes from the closest restaurant. You'll want to rent a car to get around. But the room itself is so gorgeous, and the paths through the jungle so charming, that the remote location is more than worth it. Just outside the hotel lobby, you have a jungle park with hanging bridges; you will not want for adventure during your stay at Sangregado! ❤️
