6/10 Okay

"If you are a light sleeper and get room 1009, ask for a different room. The restaurant is directly above it, and chairs are being moved making noise until after midnight. Then around 3:30-4:30 am the food deliveries are made. Very loud rolling cart noises and boxes being dropped on the floor above. When I brought it up to the front desk, they gave me ear plugs. Great view, convenient location, but we didn't get much sleep!"

"Property was nice and clean, but it is a bit dated. Location is nice and central to many things, and walking distance to many eateries. Our biggest complaint was the parking fee; we traveled with two cars and had to pay $42. A night for each car to park. $84. A night just to park, on top of everything else they charge was too much!"

"We had a drunk and disorderly neighbor, pants unzipped, belt undone that was looking through our window, yelling at us and egging my husband onto fight, cussing at us through our door. When we told the staff that he was acting aggressive and inappropriate, they simply told us they called his room and seemed to not be the aggressor. Instead of investigating and accommodating, they said “we’ll just refund you right now” and requested we not call the police even though we didn’t feel safe in our room. Needless to say, we left that night. Although they seemed apologetic after the fact. They were more concerned about optics than the actual safety of their residents."

"Beautiful property and amazing staff! We had such a wonderful stay at Estancia la Jolla. The hotel was such a nice, peaceful, escape! We loved everything- the plants, gardens, and whimsical touches. We had our wedding at Estancia and it was the BEST day! Our hotel guests loved their stay and the entire experience! They commented on how the good the food and service were. However, what really set this place apart from other hotels is the staff! Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and professional. They went above and beyond! The rooms were clean and stocked with water."
