Perfect Lake Getaway

Possibly the perfect place for an adult family weekend. House was nicer and even better appointed than expected. Owners have anticipated and exceeded guest needs for comfort and enjoyment. Would absolutely stay again if visiting the area.

Amazing property!

We visited Laporte this weekend for my 50th high school reunion and were fortunate to find this beautiful home on Stone Lake. A Peaceful, beautifully accommodated, very comfortable beds, immaculate home. We will definitely be back!

Great place - just put a curtain/blind in the upstairs bedroom

The location was awesome, the house was beautiful and with all the amenities we needed for a great time at the lake. We had many cookouts and enjoyed the paddle board and kayaks!My only feedback would be please put a curtain or blind in the top bedroom. The sun rose at 5:15am and it woke my toddler up every morning at that time.

Beautiful house, great location

Gorgeous Lake view especially at sunset! The house has everything we need. Kayaking and paddle boarding were fun. Plenty of games in the house including Pingpong table. Such a relaxing experience.

We had a lovely time. The home is immaculate and beautiful. The view of the lake brought takes you peaceful state. We felt completely at home and all the extras that are provided made our stay memorable. The host's communication was perfect and i felt lije i was talking with a friend.

Clean and peaceful!

We have stayed at Jamie’s properties before and this was our first time we stayed at this location. As always the property was sparkling clean and stocked with every amenity imaginable, from coffee pods to shampoo and conditioner, to laundry detergent extra blankets. We had access to a stand up paddle board and kayak that my kids enjoyed every evening. communication was easy and clear. We will be back next year!

Wonderful house at a beautiful location

We have stayed at dozens of rental-by-owner houses over the last 15 years or so, and this property was by far one of the best we have rented. The house was spacious (more so than the pictures even suggest), nicely appointed with nice furniture, decorations, and kitchen tools and accessories. There was not a single thing we wanted for while staying there. The location, looking out over Stone Lake was quiet and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the upper level screened porch which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather without dealing with bugs. The LaPorte area was beautiful with many interesting restaurants. One of our favorites was a stop at 'Round The Clock Diner for breakfast on our last morning there. I can't recommend this house enough - and the owners have four other properties in the area in case this one is unavailable.

Gorgeous fall break get-away! Minutes into town for Mama T's breakfast or Enzo's for dinner. Quiet lake view setting with running/biking trails. Easy 35 minute drive into South Bend for a Notre Dame game. Lots of space for our 3 teenage boys to spread out. 10/10 recommend!

Besties Gathering

Four of us gather every year to catch up, laugh, explore new places, and to experience a delightful and comfortable place to settle in for a few days. The house is big, beautiful, and cozy, has a stunning view of and easy access to Pine Lake, not to mention five minutes from lots of local restaurants. It’s also 20 minutes away from nearby New Buffalo (more great restaurants & shopping & access to Lake Michigan.)And of course the Indiana Dunes National Park runs along Lake Michigan for miles with lovely beaches, close up views of the dunes, and sightings of birds and other wildlife.Our host couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The thought and furnishings that have gone into this house are truly impressive. Comfortable sitting areas, top of the line beds, a kitchen I’d love to have at home, and not one, but two decks overlooking Pine Lake, let’s not forget 2 1/2 baths with great showers! I’ve stayed in a number of VRBO houses over the last several years and this is by far the best.

Love this place!

We had a wonderful stay… The house was so clean and comfortable. Jamie was great, responded quickly to anything I needed. Love the location, close to some really good restaurants, just five minutes away. My favorite thing to do during my stay was to sit on the screened in porch every morning drinking my cup of coffee… Miss it so much. I would definitely stay here again!

Spring Weekend Escape

This is my second stay at this beautiful property. I really didn’t want to leave. Already trying to book my third escape. Extremely clean, all the amenities you can think of…even down to the wireless bluetooth speaker that I could move around everywhere within the house. The lake was absolutely beautiful. Waking up to it every morning with my cup of coffee was heavenly. Book it, you wont regret it.

Charming and Clean

We were in town (myself, my wife, and my mother) to visit my wife’s father and family and Jamie’s house was perfect - in town, on the lake, a bedroom on the main floor for my elderly mother, and very clean. Kitchen had all we needed to cook at home meals. Jamie was very, very responsive to any questions we had. We loved it. Highly recommended - very, very clean, very beautiful home

Perfect Winter Getaway

I needed some time to decompress from my busy schedule. This was the perfect escape. The house is very spacious and extremely clean with every amenity needed for your stay. The bathroom that turns into a steam room from the steam shower with aromatherapy massage oils is a definite treat. Like being at a spa without even leaving the house. By the way that’s just one bathroom out of 3. I absolutely loved my stay and plan to stay again soon. The host, Jamie was a pleasure to work with and very attentive. Thank you Jamie for all of your help. Outstanding property!
