We really liked our stay at Hotel Luca. The best feature was the included, excellent little breakfast on the 5th floor terrace that comes with coffee, juice, fresh fruit, and great chilaquiles (or great pancakes if you prefer). It's a nice way to start a day exploring the city. The location is central. In addition to being in the middle of the Roma area and near dozens of good restaurants and cafes, you can also walk to Condessa and the park/museum, and to Centro. The room was clean and housekeeping staff kept it tidy during our stay. The bed was comfy. Check in was smooth and the staff are all really friendly. The downstairs coffee shop is also really good to have on hand.

One of the two standard rooms we had was sub standard. Barely any natural light, boring art and furniture, nothing has been done to make this room charming in anyway. It made for a disappointing start to our trip.
The other room was charming. And most we saw when open were very nice indeed. Cleanliness- high standard, staff excellent.

I wasn’t wild about the à la carte breakfast. It’s essentially Mexican food. I think a buffet offers more variety. That said, the hotel is comfortable. I left a much needed item in the room. The staff happily agreed to send it on, but despite several contacts, failed to follow through.
