"As we were traveling through Europe by car, we booked this stay last minute. The house was excellent and in a great location so we decided to stay another night. The price for the place is excellent. The local food is great, and there is plenty of history to learn. My son even caught trout from the Ourthe, and there is a very nice angling shop in town. We hope to return with more of the family. I highly recommend this booking."

"We spent three nights at this lovely place, and it couldn't have been more beautiful. The house is located in a charming small town. We met our neighbors, who were all extremely friendly. The property includes a large garden where you can enjoy the sun. Our host was very friendly and responded quickly to all our messages. The house is clean and equipped with everything you need for your vacation. I highly recommend spending your next holiday in La-Roche-en-Ardenne!"

"Lovely hotel in a good location in Bastogne. Friendly welcome, in fact all the staff were very friendly and hard working. Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom and chilled water provided. The restaurant was very surprising. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty, and the staff perfectly attentive. Breakfast the next morning was excellent and included in the price. Parking was free and there are two charging points. Much nicer stay than the last hotel we used in Bastogne. Unfortunately during the current heatwave it was lacking air conditioned rooms. I understand this is planned to be retrofitted."

"Staff was super friendly and the room was very spacious but everything was old and run down. The soap dispenser attached to wall came off with the first pump of soap. I rented a refrigerator for 2 days but it stopped working after the first day and it was a wine cooler and not a refrigerator. There was no USB charger in room either. The queen beds had two twin comforters that were very short. Overall it was a very basic hotel. "

"Due to an issue with a different booking, we reserved this room at the very last minute. The staff leapt into action to ready the additional bed for our spacious room. The room was nicely sized and the bathroom was enormous. We had a comfortable night. There were several dining options around the courtyard facing the hotel. A parking lot next to the hotel offered free overnight parking. The only negative was finding the “front” door which faced the courtyard, not the street."

"This terraced house is in a lovely location beside the river close to the centre of La Roche. On arrival you can unload your car outside, without disrupting the traffic.Unfortunately car parking is a problem. There is NO dedicated car parking spot, so it is pot luck / free for all. The nearest 4 places are at 80m then 250m then further away or on the other side of the river. Free but not convenient.There is a gorgeous balcony outside the second floor bedroom, overlooking the river, bridge, park and cafe.Communication was a problem as vrbo could not seem to send the right info to get on to my Windows 11 laptop . . . .The beds are good and large, but one was broken and held up with stones underneath . . . a bulb failed in 1st floor front bedroom, could not see spares.Blinds are thin material letting in too much light, black out needed.Lovely floors but creaky stairs. TV better down on a low table.Bathroom sink was slow to drain, so we cleaned the cup and pipes - helped but needs proper clean out. Good shower, cramped loo. Bebe football downstairs; back door not lockable with key.No visitors book, so one learns nothing of your predecessors. Namur: St Loup [book a guide, Citadel & F Rops gallery make a special day. In conclusion would we recommend this property or consider visiting again. Now that we know it, we would certainly go again, it is a delicious area to explore and the Belgians are pretty friendly. "Really nice hotel. Stayed for only one night but had food and drink in the restaurant. Order burgers but steaks came out, staff were very helpful to rectify the order. The desert ordered however took an age to come out. Minor issue with the plug in the sink being broken and the temperature was warm and the room lacked Air con so it was a warm night. All in all though it was a positive and I would stay again."

"The staff we met were lovely and helpful. The online check in is not easy for people who are on bicycles for 6 hours before arriving so we weren't able to access our room. It got sorted with a phone call to a concierge and though the restaurant was closed (at what we thought was an early hour) the staff stayed to serve us lovely food. People are lovely, systems are weird. "
