Adorable! We absolutely loved this place, it was so charming and the staff were lovely. Pretty easy to find, parking on site. Walked around the river and the village. We were there long enough to visit the castle nearby but we would have if had time.
The hotel was a charming hotel on the Seine River in the center of the cute town of Le Roche-Guyon. The restaurant was great and it had a very nice patio.

The restaurant food was excellent! The bed is small and pillows not very comfortable. The room is outdated. The location is excellent with a nice walk along. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful.
The property is in an idyllic village on the banks of the River Seine. Chateau La Roche Guyon is opposite the hotel. The hotel is a charming old building but very comfortable. The food is delicious and the staff are lovely
You go there for the view and location—a picturesque village near Giverny/Monet’s Garden. The hotel is located on the Seine and the view is beautiful. The rooms themselves, while small, are adequate and up to date. It is just that the hotel itself needs a facelift—the building interior is a bit dated. Price is fair for what you get, and as far as I can tell, they are the only hotel in town.
The hotel was in an excellent location - a very pretty village, with a chateau and walks along the riverbank. Easy driving distance to Money’s garden in Giverny, other chateaux and beautiful countryside.
It has a good bar and restaurant, with staff who are very friendly and helpful.
The main building itself was very good, but the annexe along the road was fairly ‘tired’ looking, and lacked attention to detail.
Several small faults including missing light bulbs, toilets broken, beds not made properly, shower gels not replenished etc.
If booking a room, I would suggest stipulating that you only wish to stay in the main building, not the annexe, then you will have an excellent stay.
For a basic hotel it was adequate, if the temperature outside is hot it will be a struggle as there is no air conditioning and if you keep the windows open traffic noise can be intrusive.
Perhaps slightly understaffed,- poor cleanliness on bar terrace we were directed to.
Lovely location. Nice restaurant

Basically the setting and place are absolutely stunning with the river views and the castle as a backdrop. The hotel has great old time charm without being to basic on the sanitation (bathroom, toilet) side . However the bathtub should be removed as it is a hazard for people of age. The absence of a lift might be a deal breaker for many. Having mentioned this I realise this involves a great deal of investment something the owners are unable to provide.
Unfortunately I lost my pillow sheet filled with some clothing peaces. I forgot it was still on my bed but after the housekeeping cleaning no one could retrieve it as I came back in later to fetch it.
Overall a pleasant stay , sleeping on good beds, so all things considered a comfortable stay in La Belle France.
