The room we had (205) was nothing like the website photos of a self catering studio; it was much smaller, much more tired/old and the fridge, duvet etc was yellowing. Difficult to walk around the bed, only one bedside table, window voile was ripped, etc. The location was 13mins walk to the waterfront, which was beautiful and the front of house staff were brilliant! Parking was extremely secure 👍

Convenient, nice staff but some updating necessary

Nice, helpful staff. The location was fine, reasonably convenient for the town and about 7/8 minutes to the train station on foot. The hotel was reasonable in general. However my bathroom was dirty and really needed a refit. It was too expensive for a 2 star.

Nice Appart’hotel as a base in La Rochelle’s

We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things for me. The bathroom was a bit tired. But everything worked. The hotel was very pet friendly. It is as a great base for a short break in La Rochelle for the last couple of hot days in October.
