Nice neighbourhood within 20 minutes walk of La Rochelle centre. Nice sized garden. Indoors adequate although quite an eclectic mix of cutlery and pots. Overall very happy.

Fabulous house and garden
We had a great stay in this beautiful, excellently equipped and spacious house - we loved the interior design and decoration. The private garden is ideal for al fresco dining and it was super convenient to have an off road parking space. Check-in was very welcoming and informative. Location was perfect for us - a 10 minute walk to the centre of La Rochelle and a further 5 minutes to the old port - supermarket and boulangerie just around the corner. As well as enjoying the Marche, the 3 Tours, and the Bunker Museum we also had day trips to Ile de Re, Ile d’Aix and Chatelaillon Beach. Best yet, La Rochelle won the Champions Rugby Cup while we were here - fantastic celebrations Sunday in the city ! Hope to return to this wonderful house next time we’re back in La Rochelle.

Lovely house but long walk from Old Port
This is a lovely house with everything as advertised. However, you would definitely need a car. It is approximately 25 minutes walk to the Old Port and though you might do this once a day, you would not want to do it more often as it is a long walk in the heat and is very quiet walking home at night. The location of the house is quiet and other than a great supermarket around the corner, there is nothing particularly nice in the area. There are no nice restaurants, cafes or shops near by - you have to walk into town for all that. There is a small pharmacy a few minutes walk but not a lot else. The house, though in a suburban area, can feel a bit isolated. Also, be aware that you must pay extra for sheets and towels to be provided. If is a good house if you have a car and like being in a very quiet location.

Séjour agréable, location conforme à la description. Pas trop éloignée du vieux port et de la vieille ville. Point hyper négatif la municipalité rançonne les résidents et vacanciers par des places de parkings payantes y compris dans les quartiers pavillonnaires dont cette location, dommage.

Maison proche centre ville La Rochelle
Maison agréable, bien équipée et confortable, proche du centre de la vieille ville (15mn à pied), 19mn du magnifique marché. Plages à 15/20 mn en voiture. Beaucoup de musées à découvrir, patrimoine ++ Le site Abritel dysfonctionne malheureusement (problème // paiement) heureusement le propriétaire est réactif et charmant, nous nous sommes arrangés.

une excellente adresse pour une grande famille
Ma femme et moi avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison rochelaise décorée avec goût. 2 de nos enfants adultes et mes parents âgés nous accompagnaient. Et nous avons eu la joie d'y accueillir notre petit-fils un aprés-midi: il y avait tout ce qu'il fallait pour le restaurer et le faire dormir. Un séjour vraiment réussi!
