Excellent place to stay

Had a lovely stay here for 2 nights with my husband and son. It’s very much a family atmosphere type of b&b, and you have breakfast in the owner’s kitchen with the other guests which is a lovely personal touch. Breakfasts are delicious with beautiful home made jams on offer. The rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable. Particularly liked the double sink in our room which was a nice feature. The couple who run it are extremely welcoming and friendly and very helpful with giving tips on the local area. They have a communal pool open to everyone and parking in their driveway is available if you have a car like we did. Overall a fantastic stay, would def recommend

A little sanctuary near the hustle and bustle.

Danielle and Frank are fantastic hosts. They have an architecturally beautiful home with a colourful garden and a swimming pool in the busy area of Porte Royale, which is a 10-minute walk into the centre of La Rochelle. The room we stayed in (Londres) had a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the pool. Everything was spotlessly clean and the air con was set to maintain a cool, restful environment. There was also a seating area for us outside the room. Danielle and Frank serve a delicious continental breakfast from 9.30 with their own jams, made with fruits from the garden, as well as Frank’s own amazing natural yoghurt. The breakfast experience is one to savour, not to be hurried. We met guests from Belgium at the breakfast table and Danielle always gave us all the benefits of her knowledge and history of the area for which she has a great passion! Breakfast could finish at 11am! Suitably sustained with food and information you are ready to explore the wonderful town and environs. This couple will ensure you make the most of your stay and aim to make it a memorable one. We would certainly go back!

En liten pärla i La Rochelle

Ett helt nytt, personligt och väldigt fräscht B&B som låg ca 1 km från gamla stan i La Rochelle. Boendet hade tre rum vilket gav det en intim känsla. Rummen hade direktutgång till en fin pool och utanför varje rum fanns ett litet bord och två stolar. Rummen hade en modern och personlig inredning och ett rymligt och snyggt duschrum. Ägarinnan var väldigt service minded, kunnig och intresserad av sina gäster och vi fick många bra tips. Vi tyckte boendet var en liten pärla och skulle gärna bo där igen.
