This is a beautiful, comfortable house that is so very convenient to all that La Rochelle has to offer. The communication, arrival and departure was easy. We are very pleased to have stayed here, the house has all the equipment needed. A wonderful holiday home.

Fantastic property in a great location

We travelled as a family of 6 and had a fantastic week in August 23. The property is extremely well refurbished and has a fantastic outdoor space. The location is ideal being a 8 - 10 min walk to the marina and old port where are all the restaurants, bars and main shops are. A quieter retreat to get away from the later night hustle and bustle of the main town. Local shop 2 min walk has all the produce you need for the week if you don’t have a car. Old town market is also fantastic and a must. Nicholas the house owner is extremely friendly and expedient in answering any questions. We met Laure on arrival who was so nice and explained everything. We are so grateful for letting us stay in a beautiful house and La Rochelle is also an amazing place with very friendly people and lots to see and do.

We loved our stay here! The home is in a quiet area near the sea and just a quick 10 minute walk to town. The home is very well equipped with kitchen supplies, towels, sheets, etc. The beds are very comfortable. The outdoor space is lovely.

We absolutely loved this home - it was beautifully arranged and so well kept. There were 5 adults - myself my two sons and their girlfriends- plenty of space to ‘be’ and a fab communal indoor and outdoor space to enable time Together.

Multi generation family stay in La Rochelle

Great location for easy walking to markets, water, park, beach, and active port area. There was plenty of space for all of us (8). Pool was well needed, as this was a HOT week and the home has no AC. This hot weather is very unusual for the area, but nonetheless without AC or fans the third level sleeping area was not possible. Kitchen was well stocked. Host was very friendly and helpful on arrival. Bedding linens, pillows need an upgrade, especially third floor beds, but all sufficient.

A Beautiful House and Garden in the Centre of La Rochelle

We really enjoyed our time in this house. The garden was a perfect, restful space. It was great to come back to the cool shady areas around the pool and relax after spending time exploring the city. The house is set up with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Whether it is relaxing by the pool with a drink, or cooking for the family. Despite the open plan design of the ground floor, everyone could find a quiet space to do their own thing. The house is located in a fantastic part of the city. You are a few minutes walk from the old town and port, lots of independent shops stocking local produce, parks, beaches, everything was on the doorstep. A real jewel of a house in a fantastic location.

Très belle maison bien placée

Le logement est parfaitement conforme aux photos. Maison avec piscine très agréable et très bien située dans La Rochelle, tout est faisable à pieds ou à vélo. La communication avec les propriétaires puis avec la concierge pour les clés a été très fluide. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute pour de prochaines vacances !
