「We (family of four, 2 teenagers) had a great stay at Luca's appartment. Due to the Corona pandemic, we were not sure, if we really should travel. 「Wir wurden herzlich empfangen von Lucia und ihrem Mann. Das Haus liegt in einer idyllischen Landschaft umgeben von einem großen Garten mit Blumenpracht und Feldern. 「Wir haben unsere 2 Wochen sehr genossen. Das Haus und vor allem der Platz unter dem Vordach sind auch bei Regen gut nutzbar und der Garten ist wirklich wunderschön. Von hier aus haben wir tolle Ausflüge nach Santa Fiora und zu den etruskischen Gräber bei Sovana und nach Sorano gemacht. Wir haben Siena, Montalcino und auf dem Rückweg Sant`Angela in Colle besucht. 「The appartment can be reached by car, but a SUV is highly recommended as the road is "offroad" quality". Valentina offered help whenever we needed help. 「This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.」
