Emma's Place

This is a very comfy home made available for you to stay and relax! We have a nice fire place in the living room and a relaxing room with books for reading and a charcoal grill on patio out back.
There are many adventurous things to do nearby. We are located in Amish country where there is always a lot going on and just minutes from the Michiana Event Center. Blue Gate Theater and Shipshewana Flee Market is nearby. There are many lakes near by and access to Kayaking down the pigeon river all this and more within 15 minutes.
Heron Creek Gulf Course Is right down the road.

Emma's Place was the perfect location for a girls weekend! The owners were very attentive to our needs, and the house is simply charming. Would definitely stay again, and highly recommend to others!

Notre Dame weekend

We stayed here to attend a Notre Dame game and spend time on campus. It is a great house and neighborhood and the owner was very helpful. We had great meals at local restaurants too!!

Nice place to stay. Will stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and everything looked nice. We only had a little issue with the oven not being cleaned and it smoked up the house a bit but the host apologized. It has plenty of space for several people. We plan to stay again.

Perfect!

For six guys from Ontario Canada on a road trip to see Notre Dame football, this was a great stop. The host was accessible and helpful. The house was large and clean. The location was a short walk to restaurants. It was perfect for us!

Annual Family Reunion

This is the second time we have stayed at Emma's place and we continue to enjoy it! We appreciate the location, cleanliness, and overall communication and professionalism from the Hosts. The kids especially loved the toys and books! The porch swing was a great place to watch the morning thunderstorm with a cup of coffee. Can't wait to stay again next year!

Nice place

Nice place, clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. Would suggest with limited seating in living room, how about a TV in the bedroom. Also, a shelf in the small bathroom would be nice.

Friends trip

This was my 2nd time staying at this property and I would return again. The owners are very responsive and the home is supplied with anything you may need including items for the backyard (lawn chairs/picnic table/grill and firewood). We were near walking trails did some kayaking and it was my first time attending the flea market. Love staying here and plan on returning ----- THANKS EMMA

Country Music Shenanigans

We had a girls weekend away to enjoy some country music in Shipshewana and celebrate St. Patty’s Day in Legrange. The house was roomy, comfortable, beautiful, and well stocked for all that we needed. The location was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Great place

We stayed at Emma's place and it was a perfect getaway for my family. We ate and drank and laughed and enjoyed each other's company at the roomy kitchen table. The place is spotless and I know as I did my PT on the floor each day. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star rating is that it was adverised with a hot tub. There is no hot tub.

Nice clean and quiet place to stay

Nice 4 bedroom house which was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood, if you don't like staying in a crowded and noisy hotel, this is the perfect place to stay. Owner was very communicative and the house worked great for all.

Emma’s Place was an excellent choice for 3 friends, heading to a show the Bluegate PAC in Shipshewana, just a 15 minute drive. It was clean, spacious, and well-equipped! Highly recommend!

It was a great place to stay! I thought it was so cute and comfortable. The only thing I would say is to update photos because you had a recliner on a photo and we were counting on that but it wasn’t in the house anymore!
