「Lovely, quiet place. No luxurious but comfortable. In the heart of Knowlton with shops and restaurants close by and a fabulous bookstore. The only downside for some travelers is the absence of an elevator as the hotel is on the 2nd floor, 1st floor if floor designated in the continental manner, so a flight of stairs.」

「The historic, rambling, quaint inn is perfectly situated in a lovely town. The rooms are comfortable, the public spaces are interesting and the owners are involved and very hospitable. We had breakfast in the on-site restaurant and aside from it being delicious, we had excellent service. I would happily stay again in any of the seasons as the community has activities all year round. 」
