“Older motel: tiny bathroom, cover missing on baseboard heater in the bathroom, lights pretty dim but decent beds, fluffy towels and plenty of hot water, parking right outside the door. Excellent value, pleasant staff, that also runs a cat rescue - we met some very sweet kitties as we were checking out.”

“Located in the downtown area of a small town in western MN, Canby Inn & Suites is a gem. We stayed here for 3 nights as our home base during a birding weekend. Every staff member greeted us warmly and offered to do whatever they could to make our stay comfortable. When we advised that we would be heading out at 5:30 am one of the mornings of our stay, they had freshly brewed coffee ready for us to take along. Service was above and beyond, The room was large and very clean. The bed (king)……

“Very clean, well-stocked kitchen and towels in bathrooms. Our host came to the house to greet us and ask if there was anything we needed. The guys fished during the day and the gals stayed at the house. We loved the sunroom! Beautiful view overlooking the lake. Will definitely stay here again. ”

“Great little remodeled abode. Open main floor with one bedroom, kitchen, living room and bath. Neat older neighborhood. Had no issues with neighbors. Upstairs there is room for another 3 people. House was very clean and had everything I needed. Hosts were great communicators and very gracious as well. Will definitely stay here if I am in the area again.”
