My partner and I absolutely loved Monte Rosa. It is simply the most ideal rural farm stay brimming with a lovely little kitchen garden, chickens, scratch cooked dinners and most importantly, the people who are there! 6 days was not enough. And as an added bonus you are only 15 min from the bustling towns and main city (Lagos) in the Algarve region of Portugal. So we had the best of the rural and the city! Allison and I both work in urban farming and hospitality so we really valued all of the little touches and details that went into the place. We can not express how much we loved the hosts Fabio and Marisol! They are wildly exceptional humans. Gracious, clear communicators and simply a delight to be around. Sandra's breakfast with her perfect 'Spiegelei' is the best! Theo helped us plan an amazing bike tour and Noémia set up the rooms so beautifully with foraged flowers and she is warm and wonderful. Marisol's dinners are exceptional (and she makes the best sangria!) and on our last night there we stayed and hung out with the friends we made enjoying some of the traditional dishes she made. Monte Rosa, we miss you already! Você é o melhor! Jij bent de beste! From Philly, with Love.

confort simple et rassérénant

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans ce petit logement ouvert vers la nature. Tout le nécessaire était à disposition pour passer un séjour en autonomie. L'accueil convivial et chaleureux nous a permis de nous sentir bien dés notre arrivée et nous avons pu visiter de nombreux sites magnifiques autour de notre logement(prévoir un véhicule car le logement est un peu éloigné des plages et sites touristiques). Lieu calme, apaisant en pleine nature.
