Amazing Hostel in Prime location

Amazing front desk staff. Very accommodating especially with bag drop off and pickup before the check in time. Very clean and central as well.

Enjoyed our stay, basic room but very clean and comfortable. Nice to have our own bathroom, nice breakfast and all staff very friendly and helpful, So close to everything including the bus station.

Great hostel! Yes the rooms would need to be freshened up a little, but for a hostel it exceeded my expectations. I had booked a private room with private bathroom as I was staying there a couple nights so cannot speak for the shared rooms. Included breakfast which was very appreciated. Clean, nice staff, great location.

My stay at this hostel was amazing. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was solid. And the rooms were comfortable enough for a 10 day stay. The bathrooms could use some repair, but they were fine enough for unfussy travelers. Overall an amazing experience.

Above and beyond, certainly will stay again

If I could give 6 stars out of 5, I would. I booked 2 nights, then I booked 3 nights more. In the future we visit Lagos, we will stay here again if available. Very nice and friendly staff, fabulous breakfast, good location, nice and clean.

HI Lagos - Pousada de Juventude is a five-minute walk away from the old center of Lagos. Staff is super helpful with great recommendations for restaurants and activities to do in town. The hostel is very clean. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was simple but very good. There are lots of other options in town but most will be more expensive.

The property is in a great area. Staff is very friendly and the property is very clean. This is not a social hostel at all. Not interested in staying at party hostels, but do appreciate socializing with people within the hostel. Older crowd of 40-50s with the occasional young person. No AC in the rooms, which was fine most nights if it was cool outside (we just opened the window) but we were extremely hot one night. Make sure to bring ear plugs it’s in a party area so it was very loud at night. We would hear things until 4am sometimes. Overall good property.

Terrible experience for this hotel. Most of those reviews and ratings on the hotel are unmatched: 1. No air conditioning, and no air fan provided. You have to keep the window open when staying in the room to make air flow. 2. Poor breakfast. 3. Noisy guests or people hanging out in the hallway most of the night. I woke up at 4 AM and talked a couple of times with people outside my room to keep their voices down, but they didn't care. 4. Laundry is a big scam. I asked them where the washing machine was, and the staff member showed me a stone-age hand tool, reminding me of my old grandmother when she washed our clothes by hand. I already took pictures. 5. The hotel on Google Maps doesn't match the hotel's address; it took one hour to figure out the right location. 6. Shared bathrooms and showers on each floor. Two times I tried to take a shower, I found young people, male and female, locking it from inside. I knocked on the door many times until they opened it.

Good value bed n breakfast, bright common area

Very friendly staff. Storage space was half of a tall wardrobe. There's a bright open area between the kitchen/lounge and breakfast hall. Breakfast from 8:30am-10:30am. Had fruit, tomato, cucumber, ham, cheese, yogurt, cake, bread, butter, jam, honey, cereal, oat, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, juice. Toilet and shower room were clean, but hot water took rather long time to come, and sometimes not hot enough, maybe after other people showering together or have used up hot water. Kitchen was basic, clean and with enough fridge space. Would be good if there's full length mirror in the room. There was noise from the street, sometimes in the middle of the night, which might be an issue for those not so noise tolerant.

Personale gentile e disponibile ma per tutto il resto c'è davvero il minimo indispensabile. Visto che le tariffe sono abbastanza simili a quelle di altri hostels in zona (anche sulla Rota Vicentina), da scegliere soltanto se non c'è più nulla di libero.

Le : Tout le staff est très gentil, réactif et extrêmement serviable (de l'accueil aux personnes en charge de l'entretien). Petit-déjeuner inclus dans le prix, ce qui est de plus en plus rare. Le - : Par contre, très très bruyant, notamment le week-end, les chambres pour femmes donnent directement sur la rue. Et quelques cafards rencontrés dans le couloir.

Reasonable with price paid

As i was travelling in low season in dec, i had the whole 4-person room to myself. The staff is very friendly and gave many advices on attractions. The room and toilet is old but reasonably clean. However the window/door is not sound proof, so you'd hear people talking at 2am. The blanket was not warm enough that i had to take 2 blankets. The major complain is that there is no hot water for bathing!

Staff were nice and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and rooms were a fair size with big lockers for your bags. There’s a pretty nice outside sitting area that no one really seemed to use. Location is great and easy access. The only down point is that there wasn’t must atmosphere which for a solo traveller is a little disappointing. Maybe if there were activities run by the hostel it would creat a bit more interaction. Other than That it was a great hostel and valued well

Otimo atendimento da recepção, bem localizado, é um local simples mas que atende todas as necessidades com bom custo e beneficio. Havia feito uma reserva para quarto compartilhado para mim e uma amiga, ao chegar no local o sr da recpção se não me engano Pedro nos ofereceu um quarto privado para nos duas por apenas 5 euros a mais.
