"Liked the proximity to town and the proximity to the famous beach walks - Dona Ana, Ponte da Piedad, Praia do Camilo.
Hotel had excellent breakfast but not much seemed available beyond that - maybe off season and very few people here. Sure it would be a very busy place in the summer. Pools arre wonderul and the setting also."

"Very nice hotel. We checked in on the day Portgual was hit with the blackout, yet all staff remained calm and friendly. They had a back up generator running which allowed us to check in and get something to eat after a terribly stressful day.
Pool and kids area facilities were great and its a 5 minute walk to a huge beach (no facilities there)
2 negatives though: cleaning staff pass by very late in the day 3 - 5pm
And while the buffet breakfast is great, the bar and italian restaurant offer...

"Staff were friendly and check in/out were a breeze. Our room was very clean and well equipped (it was handy to have a mini fridge, coffee maker, wine bottle opener, etc.). There were extra pillows and blankets on hand. It was nice to have a full size tub/shower.
Location-wise everything was very convenient and walkable. Close to bus station and train station. We didn't have a view of the marina from our room but thought although it would've been nice, the view of the bus terminal didn't bother...

"Estimated 3 million Euro Renovations make this hotel LIKE NEW! Beautiful indoor and outdoor pools. Very Good Breakfast. Very knowledgeable staff. Less than 10 min drive to LAGOS. Walk 5-10 minutes to beautiful LUZ beach which has food and drinks available. Full service SPA available. Private balcony with ocean view. We came here 7 years ago and returned for another enjoyable stay."

"The accomodation was perfect for exploring Lagos. It was a 10 minute walk into the old town and a 10 minute walk to the boardwalk for the beaches and spectacular clifftop views.
The hotel has great staff who were willing to help you and always greeted you with a smile. The rooms had everything you needed and lovely traditional decor tastefully done. They aren't trying to be a 5 Star hotel but you can see everyone takes pride in the hotel to make your stay as enjoyable as it can be.
The breakfast had plenty of choices for a continental breakfast. Very happy with what was offered and it was available until 11am which is perfect for a lazy morning person like myself.
I normally go for hotels or guest houses that have tidy rooms, so I can leave my bags and go explore. This time I was happy to stay around. I think many guests were thinking similarly because some stayed by the pool all day. The pool lounge chairs are a premium, which meant that if you didn't time it right you would miss out on a lounge chair but it didn't stop me from taking a dip to refresh "
