Organised Robbery at Solitude Hotel Lagos Nigeria

1. I paid close to £160.00 (240.000 naira) for 3 nights, averaging 80.000 naira per night, I was given a room worth 30.000 naira per night. I was told 'middlemen' like Expedia and Totels.com had pocketed most of the money. Shameful. 2. No gym or swimming pool available as advertised on hotel website. A total scam. Disgusting

The room I booked was supposed to be a standard with king size bed, however the hotel was sold out and they put me in a mini room. The fridge was unusable, no wardrobe, no place to hang my towel or clothes, no in room coffee and the tv was blue. I had to go outside to connect to the internet. On the plus side, the room had a newly updated bathroom and the staff was helpful. The next day the hotel had me look at other rooms, but the bathrooms were so nasty and gross, I refused and went back to the mini room.

Actually in nice location and close to beach

Rooms were clean on daily basis, all facilities are working except the toilet which was place too close to shower stand and not too comfortable when doing number two, lol. Maybe that was just applicable to my room (215) only.

Nice getaway hotel

Check-in and check-out were very smooth, hotel staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. I didn't like the fact, though, that breakfast was for only one person whereas the room was a double occupancy room. Money paid to have the complimentary breakfast in the room was refunded on the ground of our being Expedia guests. That was very nice. A nice stay, it was for us.

Very good.

Decent size room, decent price. No hassle and great for night outs on the island. Will use again if I need a place on the island to chill. The road sucks but then again, this is Lagos :)

The hotel staff were very courteous. The tv channel options were limited. For the price I didn't expect to ask for all the complimentary's but I ended up doing that for anything complimentary. Will stay again but will deserve better.

Trygt, rent og stille

Et behagelig opphold. Trygt for meg som er hvit, også å spasere utefor, til minibank, og til stranden Oniru, kort vei til shoppingsenter også. Rent svømmebasseng og hyggelig personell, greie priser. Artig lokal samlingsplass rett over gaten med god lokal mat. Har lyst til å reise tilbake.

Very good hotel

I stayed here a week and when I go back to Lagos I will definitively stay here again. Thanks to the nice, friendly and helpfull staff. The only thing they need to improve is the speed of Wi-Fi.
