"The location and offerings here are essential. Shaw’s Cove feels like a hidden gem and having access right there is ideal! The cozy breakfast view is delightful and they have great coffee. Staff is very friendly and the bar access is low key and exactly what is needed. Perfect for a romantic getaway!"

"Great location. North building has an upscale feel with the decor/layout, although maintenance has slipped a little since the last time I stayed there. Wifi did not work and floors needed to be cleaned a little better. Rooms are beginning to ahow a little wear and tear. Amenities could also be better for the price point. Asked for something at check-in that most hotels would have, but they did not--referred me to the grocery store across the street. Also the shower amenities (shampoo, conditioner, wash gel) was non-descript--again, didn't quite fit the upscale motif. Self-parking was easy (with the exception of the $39 daily fee). Would absolutely recommend though, and would stay there again."

"This hotel is nothing short of a miracle in disguised. All from the obvious to the little details, this place was helpful to the max! Being right between Newport and Laguna, all the way to efficient parking, I couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. The room was not only gorgeous, but safe as it is also useful with a mini fridge. I will 100% stay here again!"

"Comfortable stay just a few minutes from the beach. Breakfast simple but quite nice compared to other places we stayed at during our California tour. Small downsides: street noise from highway in front, and the AC would need some upgrade. Quite nice actually to walk to the center of Laguna Beach through Hensler Park, probably 1 1/2 miles or so (good for running as well)."
