Great place. Great partial ocean view. Great property manager. A bit of road noise at times.

Excellent experience at the royal kahana. Parking was great and shaded. There is a bit of road noise that could be loud at times if the sliding balcony door was open. Great partial ocean views from the Lanai. Clean and convenient.

Views, Cleanliness & Comfort

This place is PERFECT for 2 people!! Karri has this condo so well design and provides everything you need in a smart and compact way. The bed and pillows are an absolute dream!!! My heart melted when we walked in to champagne and chocolates!!! The extra touches make this place a must visit! This condo is also in the best location! You can walk to shops and restaurants or drive 10 minutes to Front Street. Everyday we used the All Trails app and went on morning hikes, some close by some an hour away. If we come back to Hawaii we will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect for 2

Just right for 2 with appliances you want- w/d and dish washer! Location was ocean front and had a few walkable destinations. Condo was clean, and building staff was friendly - all of this made for a wonderful, relaxing Maui vacation. One thing that could be added - a collapsible drying racking. Amazon makes one that I use at home. It is compact when not in use and can hold up to 12 items.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at your condo . It was clean and had everything to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed having our coffee on the luni when it wasn't too windy. The bed was as comfortable as ours at home. I would definately return. Thank you Kerri

Nice condo, nice view, but...

We really loved the ocean view and the cosy, clean condo. I didn't think i would miss the missing beach (due to corrosion) , but eventually we got tired driving to the beaches. But even that would be ok, till i had upsetting situation with the condo owner. I noticed dripping under the sink and I informed Karri immediately. I didn't mind her father coming couple hours later to check it out. The next morning (of our last full day of our stay on Maui) we finally felt like we could relax and stay in bed longer...but I got the message from Karri stating her father would stop by in an hour to fix the leak. There was no apology offered at the moment, there was no question asked if we minded or maybe we would prefer another time of the day...nope, it didn't happen. I asked if that could wait for another day since we were leaving in less than 20 hrs and we were really tired, but no... I was explained that we knew we were staying not in a hotel and it was convenient time for her father to fix the leak. So sad, the last day was totally ruined...

This unit was the best we have stayed in since we started coming to the Royal Kahana 15 years ago.

Unit 805 was beautiful. Everything has been updated. The room was exceptionally clean. The view was terrific. It had all the things in it that you normally have to purchase like shampoo and conditioner. It had laundry soap, beach towels, snorkel gear and everything you normally have to buy or rent. Will definitely rent this unit again next time we come back.

Wonderful Home Base

The condo was a perfect home base and to our surprise it was filled with everything we needed, even the aloe for the sun burn. The condo was beautiful and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. We left the screen door open at night and enjoyed the sounds of the ocean. Thank you so much to Karri. P.S. The towels were so plush and soft - amazing.

Value in every sense of the word

Kari was phenomenal to work with from beginning to end. The room was stunning and the views were breathtaking. The room has everything you would ever want/need. Kari even had a bottle of champagne waiting for my wife and I on our arrival. Bed was so comfortable and the AC kept the room cool through the day and night. We had family and friends (40 in total) stay all over the island while we were there. We paid the lowest amount for our room, yet it was the nicest and most accommodating room of the bunch. We won’t stay anywhere else. The bang for your buck is so worth it. We were able to do all kinds of activities and dinners on the island with the money we saved on our room.

Perfect home away from home!

Everything was perfect. The condo was in a great location and had everything we needed for the week. Clean, comfortable and a great view from the balcony. We’d see whales every morning while drinking coffee on the balcony. Lots of privacy and great service with all the necessities for the beach and for cooking/cleaning. We will be back!

First time in Maui

Great little condo just 10 minutes outside of Lahaina. It had everything we could have needed and more. Since my husband is celiac it was great to have the kitchen available to cook the majority of our meals at home with! We really enjoyed the BBQs they have on the property as well. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the waves rolling in at night. The views are amazing from the lanai - we had breakfast and lunch there most days, watching the whales and turtles that swam by. The only small drawback is there isn’t a beach directly on the property anymore due to erosion, however, I think it was a benefit in that we went exploring more and we were never on the same beach twice - there are so many great beaches nearby or further out if you wanted to go for a drive. We enjoyed snorkelling with the gear provided and had a nice little beach bag to pack with us every day. I would definitely recommend Karri’s place to anyone who wants to explore Maui from without being in a big resort. We are already dreaming of our next trip to Maui. Mahalo Karri for a wonderful stay!

Loved !

We had a great stay here! The condo was everything we needed and more. The bed and pillows were like sleeping in the clouds! Clean, comfortable and a very nice place to end our 3week trip! The property manager was very welcoming and left great information for us for our stay. Would definately recommend this unit and will hopefully be staying here again. The only think I would note is that the unit is in Kahana which is north of Lahaina about 10mins by car. I was under the impression that it was in or closer to Lahaina. But the location is still great!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location!

This stay was absolutely wonderful! It is close to everything in West Maui and the host, Karri, is very responsive. The bed was comfortable and they had quick wifi, cable, and a dvd player. The lanai oversees the ocean which has some pretty waves regularly. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, glasses, silverware, pots, and general condiments. There were plenty of towels including some great beach towels. There were chairs, bamboo mats, chairs, an umbrella, and snorkel equipment. I highly recommend, it was a very nice stay. Cheers!

Perfect location and well appointed!

We chose to stay at the RK 805 for our first ever trip to Hawaii as it appeared to have everything we needed. This was definitely the case, and once we arrived we knew we made the right choice! The location is far enough away from busy Kaanapali and Lahaina , but still a very short drive to both. The kitchenette was stocked well and we enjoyed cooking most of our meals there. The view of the water is pretty good and we even saw a large sea turtle from the lanai. Parking was plentiful on the property and we felt safe. The abundance of restaraunts and amazing beaches close by made us feel we were getting great value for the stay. We will definitely consider returning on our next voyage to Maui! Great value for an ocean view property

Property has a lovely ocean view. We slept with the slider open and enjoyed the ocean breezes each night we were there and were very comfortable. That said, in CA I typically live most of my life in Air Conditioning. Condo is nicely located, and so central to most places we wanted to be. Enjoyed following Karri's advice on restaurants (and really all advice he gave!) and we loved the sushi place across the street. Karri is very attentive, and quick to respond and the condo is very well stocked, is quite comfortable, and he seemed to pretty much think of everything a guest might want for a nice stay. Anticipate being a "repeat customer".

Perfect home base for our Maui vacation!

We came to Maui to celebrate our honeymoon. The studio is very well equipped with everything you might need for your Maui vacation! We made breakfast in the condo every morning and packed a lunch to go on our beach adventures! The condo has a cooler which made packing lunch easy! The bed is very comfortable and the linens are top notch. The view from the condo is amazing, it was so nice to sit on the balcony and drink our morning coffee! The champagne on arrival was a very special touch!! Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality, we will be coming back!!

Would stay again!

This condo was fantastic, especially for the price!! The condo was very well maintained, nicely decorated, super clean and cozy! The bed was quite comfortable for me, as I like a bed on the softer side. Karri has the condo well stocked; in the bathroom with toiletries, some items in the fridge and plastic containers in the kitchen for left overs or to use for taking items to a picnic on the beach. We even took the provided umbrella, beach towels and straw mats to the beaches on Maui, which was great to have! The condo was within walking distance to a couple places to eat; the coffee shop and Maui Brewing Co. in particular are ones we visited and pretty good (lots of beer options at Maui Brewing Co). For a lot of other food options you will have to travel but it doesn't have to be a long drive to near-by restaurants. The same goes for beaches; the condo sits on a beach, though it wasn't our favorite so we explored other beaches on Maui and would come back to the condo each night for a peaceful and comfortable place to relax and sleep! I would recommend this condo to anyone especially to those who are trying to stay on budget or those that just want a nice but simple and cozy place to stay on Maui!

Sweet and simple

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon. It was a great little spot for us. Not to far away from town about 10-15 min drive to all the food and fun you want. Also I am a clean freak and this place was in great shape. Lastly the price was reasonable enough for us to stay almost 2 weeks which allowed us to relax. If you don't need or want big resort prices or life this is a great place.

Beautiful condo in paradise

What a wonderful place to spend our vacation. This condo is beautifully decorated and has all the items needed for a grand get-away. We loved setting on the lani having wine and cheese after a long day of sightseeing and watching and hearing the ocean below. All of the equipment was provided for a wonderful day at the beach. Karri was wonderful to work with. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay while in Maui. Mahalo Karri. Bill & LaVonne

What a great place!! Everything we expected and more (:

The place was very clean and organized. It was like leaving our home then going to our second home that had everything we needed except for food. You can really see the ocean from the balcony. We even saw sea turtles in the morning. I didnt find any bugs i think the 8th floor helps with this but also that it was clean. I would definitely stay here again it's a good location that isn't chaotic as in lots of people. It was 15 minutes away from the beach I wanted to go to and from all the shopping on Front Street in Lahaina. Great place and location and i would definitely stay here again.
