“We loved our stay here! Great location and drivable to various Dolomites hikes and sights. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. We got engaged during our stay and the staff treated us to a complimentary bottle of prosecco! The sauna and spa facilities were also a treat to use after our long hikes. Breakfast was also fabulous with lots of variety, quality coffee and made to order egg dishes. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Orso Grigio!”

“Lovely authentic Tyrolean hotel . Rooms are large and newly renovated. Breakfast is a decent continental selection. A 3 course set dinner menu is available each night though we didn’t try it. The village is beautiful. We didn’t have a car but the bus and train network to neighbouring villages was pretty good and straightforward plus you get a free transport pass with the hotel. There is a bus stop outside the hotel and the train station is less than 10 minutes walk. All the shops are very close……

“Ho prenotato questo albergo per soggiornare due giorni dopo la gara Cortina Dobbiaco. Avevo prenotato una stanza standard ma al nostro arrivo ci è stata proposta la suite con una piccola differenza giornaliera: stupenda!!! Ne avevamo bisogno.

“1. The room is large. Fare include breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is ok while the dinner is terrible, almost only vegetable, no meat.
2. Absolutely No WiFi in room.
3. The introduction says “Eve dinner” is included, but I am misled to interpret dinner is included only if I book the hotel on 31, Dec. We ate outside before check in and found dinner is provided.
4. It is strange one table is reserved for one room all day long, which means if you go early to the restaurant and there is good……

“On arrival the welcome was warm. All the staff were efficient, attentive, professional and friendly. The room was very comfortable and spotless, with complimentary water and plenty of space. There was a patio with chairs and a table and the most wonderful views of the mountains - this was not used much due to the snow! “Als Paar waren wir zwar nur in der kleinsten Variante der angebotenen Studios, aber auch das bot sehr guten Komfort. Saubere, sehr appetitliche Betten mit relativ straffen Matratzen, eine Terasse, die zum Sonnenbaden einlädt, ein normales Bad und eine moderne Küche machen den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.
Negativ zu erwähnen sind höchstens der schwer zu bedienende Herd (mit Touchfeld) und die sehr merkwürdig zu bedienende Mikrowelle (defekt?). Hier wäre etwas einfacher wohl besser gewesen, nicht……
